Piero's, Ingatestone

Food is excellent, however like the last reviewer we have had extra items added to the bill on two occasions now.

We really enjoyed everything about this restaurant until the bill came. They had added 2 things to the bill which we had not ordered. This really spoilt the experience for us.

PIERO'S IS A LITTLE ITALIAN GEM IN A SMALL VILLAGE IN ESSEX, WE HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS AND LOVE THE FAMILY EXPEREINCE WITH PIERO IN THE KITCHEN AND BROTHER SISTER AND UNCLE RUNNING THE FRONT OF HOUSE, THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC AND OUR KIDS LOVE THE PLACE.

THIS FAMILY ESTABLISHMENT TAKE REAL PRIDE IN WHAT THEY DO AND THE FOOD IS COOKED WITH LOVE.

Best Italian around in my opinion, fantastic service, food and wine.

On Saturday nights they also provide great live music in The Amico Bar at the rear.

Well worth a visit.

I recommend this fantastic Italian restaurant to everyone who loves good food, being surrounded by a typically Italian atmosphere and receive an excellent and friendly service. It is like going on holiday in southern Italy for only a few hours. I go once or twice a month and I can confirm that it is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been .. especially if run by a real Italian family!

Outstanding - as good as we've found outside London - and as good as many London eateries.

The service was quick and attentive without being intrusive. The starters were huge - and excellent. We had the ribs and the bruschetta with a side order of zuccini friti - crisp and juicy. We both had the seafood risotto to follow which was fab - and just perfectly cooked.

We will be going back as we're only 10mins away by car. Next time we'll get a cab as I'd like to try the wine list!

We didn't even know this place was so near to us, the food was terrific, we will use this place all the time now, it sort of reminds you of beeing in Italy with the scooter and ferrari goodies in the bar.

Piero the owner introduced himself and his family to us and really made us feel special.

The pasta dish myself and my wife had was homemade by Piero's mother, it was truly magnifecent.

We have been coming to Pieros for a while now, we like it so much we pop in at least twice a month it feels like they are all family to us now.

Piero takes pride in his place the food is superb and the service by his uncle mother and cousin is very good and friendly.

The food is the best Italian we have ever had.
