I visited ParkDX with my kids and having been all over the county to skate parks and this is with out doubt the best in the Essex,, £ for £ is better than any other park,, the staff are great, They have a shop at the park and my boys convinced me that the prices where very competitive. The place is friendly, welcoming and for a skate park is run very professionally. It even has clean toilets, not many of them in skateparks!! Well done to the team at ParkDX., Staff were great when my boy wanted to buy parts for his scooter the staff talked him through the mechanical side of things, fitted all the parts and they gave him a free t-shirt,,, I would not just take my word for it,, give it a go and leave a review,,

Great article! The event in Queens was so much fun! Skateboarders ROCK! They all work so hard, it's plbaobry the hardest sport there is. It makes me so proud that Nicky is so devoted to his sport, and to his team and fans! I know how proud his is to be part of the RPM team, he loves, loves, loves the east coast and New Jersey! Jersey people understand Nicky the best. He will always be a Jersey boy, no matter where he goes! Looking forward to being with the team at the next event!Thanks to RPM Auto, for supporting Nicky!

Rude Need Lessons In How To Treat People.
The park is small but ok and great fun,and the price is not too bad, my son and his friends go there about 3 times a week and from what they have told me there is one person that works there the most is very nasty to them and treats them like supid people and always taking the mick out of them,i did not know if it was as bad as they said so i sent there older brother with them last week and he confirm it. he acts like he is god.i am fed up as there is not many places for the kids to go and the fact that this person could stop them from wanting to go, i think it is a shame that this person should be able to get away with this he knows who he his, i will be taking this further as he is a bully and should not be able to work with young children, this has been going on for months and i am going to report him because i do not belive he should be allowed to be a rolemodel for young kids acting like they are supid when clearly he is the one with a problem. and i think the owner should have this person check,because he is not a nice person and needs to be away from children that might look up to him,he is a nasty bully and like i said i will be taking it further.
Park Dx had some issues with the manager at the time of this review but he has been replaced and it is now nothing but a friendly and fun place now. We have managed to create a park that skaters, scooter, skateboard and BMX riders can get along in mixed sessions. Plus an fully stocked on site shop. Thanks for the comments. hope to see you soon
I'm really sorry about the experiences your son and his friends had. We have addressed this and this member of staff was sacked at the start of the year. We have had very good feedback for both full time managers and staff at park dx and hope your son and his friends will come back and see us. Jason DX management
Really? Try actually taking your children yourself and not treating the place like a daycare center. I also take my 2 lads to this skatepark and have found them to be the most down to earth helpful guys possible, they clearly love what they do and have years of experience I couldn't think of a better more nurturing environment for my boys to be in. I can see how working in such a place can be an extremely stressful place to be especially having seen first hand how certain \"customers\" come in and speak to the staff there. If you are in Colchester and need equipment, parts or just advice on anything like skateboarding these are the guys to go to. Years of experience, boat loads of passion and an overall atmosphere that nurtures my lads both with their sport and their confidence. 10/10 Demon Xtreme don't let the morons bring you down, you are all awesome xXx

For A Park That Is The Size Of A Large Tent From A
for a park that is the size of a large tent from argos terribly over priced ( ment to be extended soon ) but demon extreme park dx is friendly and locals are nice tho and fercilities are very good

Thanks, Update 2012/13 - 3000 sq ft park space is smaller than some parks but perhaps bigger than "the tent from argos" we have ever seen. We have capacity for over 50 and limit when we reach that to ensure safety and enjoyment, We also have an upstairs viewing and chill room for parents. Plus Demon Xtreme on site shop that stocks everything needed for skate park users....skates, scooters, skateboard.... Our focus is on enjoyment, atmosphere and safety.
