Karrimor Equator Low Waterproof Boots

I bought these boots as I wanted a comfortable alternative to wellington boots. They state they are waterproof (they even have a 'waterproof' tag on the side) but they fill up with water through the air vents in the side and I have to wring out my socks after only a short walk in wet grass. They are a wide fit, are reasonably comfortable to walk in, have Vibram soles and look ok. They are fine for dry weather but that's all. Don't buy these if you want to keep your feet dry!

I Recently Went On My First Walking (and Eating!)

I recently went on my first walking (and eating!) holiday in the Lake District and had to purchase some walking shoes. I was worried that I'd end up with a pair of dull brown leather boots or a pair that needed a large amount of breaking in. I took the plunge and bought a pair of Karrimor Womens Equator walking boots in a lovely Grey/velvet colour via Amazon. They arrived just in time (phew) and I was surprised at how comfy they are.

They look great with touches of bright purple combined with grey mesh and darker grey velvet. They are waterproof which was really needed as during my holiday we had a weather warning!

The boots are that comfortable that I'm still wearing them :)
