Absolutely awful!!!
Decided to order for first time… never again! Eventually took a refund as seemed parcel was never going to arrive. Really wanted the items but how no longer in stock to reorder… took my money and didn’t provide any of the goods - shocking. No compensation. Customer service also awful… forever on the phone, never speak to same person, told will call back but hadn’t 4 days later. I called again and again, being told we will get back to you in 24 hours and they never call back. No items, can’t now get them at all, no real interest on sorting things out. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Horrendous, The Worst Online Retailer I Have Ever Dealt With
Ordered 2 items from Very on Dec 20th. Still waiting for delivery as delivery company sent items to an address nearly 30km away. Have asked for a full refund and have still waiting on an update from Very. I would not recommend ordering from this company as they are very difficult to get a response/update from.

Item ordered on the 7th & dispatched by very on 17th July due for delivery on 25th July. No delivery slots available, have phoned very customer care six times over 7 day period to resolve. No help what so ever keep saying it will take 24hours to resolve, will not put me through to manager or have a manager ring me to resolve. Worst shopping experience and customer experience I have ever had. Told issue was resolved yesterday to find out today it wasn’t, staff just tell you anything to get of phone call and never ring back.

Do Not Buy Pavillion Sofa From Very
I bought a Pavillion sofa from Very 9 months ago and the top layer is peeling off on one of the back cushions. They sent a technician out to look at it and have said it is NOT a manufacturing fault! Absolutely unbelievable. They also added a charge of £45 to my account for the cost of the inspection. I am definitely taking it further. Just wondered if anyone else has had a similar problem?

appauling customer service. if I could have ticked a negative star I would have done!
ordered a new washing machine and collection of existing one. delivered new one today. After unpacking my new one and taking the packaging out to the bins I see that they didn't take the old one away that I left at the entrance to the house. 35mins on a call. the last 20 mins on hold!
all they said they would do is refund the collection fee. I said that didn't solve the problem as I now have to get rid of the machine - which is now affecting getting my car in and out.
I said I wouldn't have ordered it if this was the outcome. They said I could return the new one (at their cost!) and then get a full refund. so they don't care about the customers problem I now have!
Collecting the new machine from me would have cost them just as much as collecting the old one. diabolical company. it takes about 12 to 15 mins just to get through
Where's My Refund?
I received a faulty Vax carpet shampooer and it was returned back via Yodel on the 22/12/23 and within a few days I was receiving alarming emails and texts saying saying as item had not been received so initial credit to my account was being removed, luckily I did have documentary proof. I have contacted Very poor customer services four times,each time being told my refund for £302.99p would be in my bank account in three to seven working days. SO far Zilch! Today I have been told yet again my refund has gone through and will be anything from three to five working days to ten working days depending on my bank. Well we'll see... Flying pigs springs to mind! It looks likely I'll be contacting legal assistance to pursue my £££! Don't use this Company, steer well clear!!!

Poor Service. Owe Me Money.
I returned an item 6 weeks ago and I've yet to be refunded for the item. I've called on 5 occasions and been told it'll be 14 days, we've raised a complaint for you, a cheques being dispatched. None of this has happened. They just get me off the phone and do nothing. It's disgusting customer service. It was a £750 order and I returned a £37 tracksuit! Its ridiculous.

Major Problems Getting A Refund.
I returned I item on 27.11.2023 tracked through the post office. I checked my tracking number which stated very had received my return on 29.11.2023. I waited for a refund which didn’t happen. On 6.12.223 I contacted very to ask about my refund. I was told the issue would be raised and a refund would arrive within 14 days. I contacted very customer service again after 14 days. I was told it would have to be raised as a missing item. That’s not my problem, I have proof of purchase which is tracked. WHEN WILL I GET A REFUND. WHAT DOES IT TAKE

Appalling customer service.
Received my parcel to find everything but the actual items to be correct.
I called to ask for them to send out what I ordered (needed!) To be told they wouldn't send my order until I had returned these items and they'd processed and refunded me.
Their mistake, they should correct it while I send this back.
Q&A
Basically, I am in a bit of a pickle. I ordered some bedroom furniture from Very two weeks ago and it was delivered on Wednesday last week. My husband checked everything was there and put the furniture together. Everything was fine until he went to install the glass door mirror onto our wardrobe, he hadn't taken the foam sheet off of the front until this point, ironically so it wouldn't get damaged and it had a large crack in the mirror. This was definitely caused either during delivery or was already there when it was shipped from Very as it had only been moved carefully out of the box.
I have contacted Very and they said this:
"Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused.
The onus is on the customer to ensure all parts are present and free from defect before construction.
Once an item is assembled the home approval guarantee is null and void. This is because the damage could have been caused during construction."
I understand that my husband should have checked the cosmetics of each piece before assembling it together, so I can kind of understand where they're coming from…but after reading multiple terrible reviews about Very, I almost feel obliged to fight my case in this instance.
Is there anything I can do, to get a replacement door?
(The weird thing is, I emailed two different email addresses and one said the thing above, the second basically said they have ordered a new one and have sent it out! It was only a while after reading their email, that I realised that they didn't even ask what address to send it out to. So I'm not holding out hope.)
Any help would be much appreciated :)
Thank you everyone! I thought that I would let you know that I took on your advice and I responded to Very and went on about my 'consumer rights' and how the item they sent me was not fit for purpose and of a satisfactory quality. (I basically tried to sound like I new what I was talking about.)
I also emailed a different email that is connected to their social networking sites and basically explained my issue and they didn't even argue, they sent me out the spare part straight away and it arrived on the weekend! Undamaged.
Luckily I didn't have to take any further drastic action, but thanks to your replies I was willing to! Thanks for your help guys :) I now have a complete wardrobe and one less thing to worry about!
