Excellent Food Great Service

Six of us ate here on a Sunday, warm friendly welcome, staff nice.

All our meals were excellent, large meals and great prices.

During the week are special deals. Mondays kids eat for £1.

Wacky warehouse for kids.

Was very quiet tonight no children.

Was nice and cool as the AC was on.

We will definitely be back again. Thank you.

Took My Parents For A Mid Week Lunch And Was Amaze

Took my parents for a mid week lunch and was amazed to see a special lunch time offer of a main meal, desert and tea/coffee/fizzy drink for only £5 each.

Although the choice is limited (about 6 dishes for the main meal and either Bramley apple pie or a sundae for desert), the food was excellent and good portions. The tea and coffee which followed was served in large cups. Service was friendly and efficient.

The only negative point is that the pub is in desperate need of an internal refurb - cracked plaster, peeled paint, dated furniture.

Having Arrived At 7.30pm, We Were Greeted With A N

Having arrived at 7.30pm, we were greeted with a note pinned to the door stating they would stop serving at 7.45. Friends hadn't yet arrived so it was a rush to ensure we all had meals. When the plates had been cleared we asked for desserts. We were told no deseerts as the chef had gone. This was at 8.30. The Restaurant states it serves food untill 10 pm. Are we the only people that find this unacceptable? No mention was made while ordering the main meals that this would happen. We didn't have a starter as we thought we had better just order the mains. If we had would we have been told that was it, no main meals??
