Russell Hobbs Marco Pierre White Microwave Oven

We purchased the Russell Hobbs Marco Pierre White 20 litre stainless steel convection microwave oven 5/1/09 on 11/1/10 it failed not bad 1year and six days of very little use. I contacted Russell Hobbs helpline today and finally got through after several minutes to find out the warranty period as there were no details in the box when we purchased it. I was told warranty was 1 year, the product was not actually made by themselves but a company called linmark who are no longer in business, so much for choosing a well established branded name we have used in the past, never again and I've told them so. I should'nt think Marco Pierre White would be too pleased either having put his name to it.
