Did Not Like At All

Did not hardly use any salt for over a years time of use

The unit Said it did not need any salt for another 669 days

Do not think the eco drink water softer was working

When I called all they would say was it was a very efficient unit

I had they unit removed and went with culligan. Cost less money and I really can feal the difference of the water. Highly recommend culligan and not eco water.

Bad Taste After 3 Days Of Install

My system was installed the week of 8/17/16. After 3 days the water still feels very bad. I can't drink it. I called the company and they will come in on Monday to check it out. I'm very frustrated. It's an expensive unit ($3100) and I'm not happy. The two tanks took too much space in the a/c closet. I'll rewrite this post after they come in and fix the issues.

Q.A.

If you bought a water softener to fix bad tasting water then the sales person sold you the wrong product. It is not a filter for taste. It fixes the problem of hard water. For taste you need a carbon filter which does not cost $3100; more like $310 installed. Add a sediment filter at the same time.

the hard water leaves the white spots where it dries and calcium build up on faucets. Soft water makes soap clean better and the water simply feels better.

the company who who sold you the water softener stole your money.

Err 3500 Refiner

I am really impressed with the water from this product, I didnt like the feel of the water from the other product we had, my neighbors were raving about what they had.

My wife and I spent the night at their house when our AC went out and took a shower and realized there was a big difference. We called about a month later and we have the new water unit and love it, I was shocked how little salt it uses compared to the old one. They told me it saves that much water too. Guess it may pay for itself

Built A New House 4 Years Ago And Bought A Ecr3500

Built a new house 4 years ago and bought a ECR3500R30 from a business associate, though my gut told me not to. Had a Kinetico in my other house for 20 years with no problems. This unit does not work at least every three months, which requires, taking out all of the salt and cleaning the components. Plus this unit uses a lot more salt then the Kinetico did. The company I bought it from is willing to come out and fix it, but since it is no longer under warranty it is now $200 every time they come out. In fact I have the guys number in my phone contact list. Do not buy.

Skmo - I should had done a follow up post. When the service company sent out a tech, he substantially reduced the length of the hose in the brine tank. He surmised the well pump did not generate enough pressure to active the process that drains the brine tank. Wish the other techs would had thought of that the other two times I had them out. Since then the softener has been operating properly, but it still uses more salt then the Kinetico did.

Sorry but there is no way you need to clean out the salt tank every three months. My system is 5 years old and never have done that. Works like a charm

Good Luck On Any Repairs Or Follow Up On The Systems.

We have an Ecowater systems installed by Yucky Water. After several phone calls we finally found someone in Ocala who agreed to come and check the system..We were told he would be here between 9 and 12. At noon my husband called the office and the woman said it was her fault (she didn't put it in the system right) she then said even if it were in the system the gentleman was sick and wouldn't have shone up anyway. she recommended that friday we sit at home for four hours to see if someone shows up. This sounds more like a review of the service company, not the ECO unit.

Very Happy With Unit

had my ECR 3502 R50 put in and have never had such a happy wife as we finally have a unit that provides great flow rates and wonderful soft water, would recommend this company to anyone as the rep & installer both had a lot of expertise in water & that made me very comfortable to do busness with them, replaced a big brand name unit because of constant low water pressure & we are now very satisfied customers of Ecowater & would recommend them very highly

I Have Had The Ecowater System For Over 5 Years An

I have had the ecowater system for over 5 years and have been very satisfied with the quality of the water and taste. We all have eczema and the water softener saves us from cracking dry hands and skin. My only concern would be the environmental impact of the salt system. Does anybody know a scientific reference on that subject?

We Have Tried Many Brands And Have Never Had A S

We have tried many brands and have never had a softener that has performed and used so little water and salt. Love the remote helps alot to remind me when to add salt and if ever there is a malfuntion it would let me know. Would recommend to everyone and I even worked for Culligan and another private company. So dont go spend pennies to save I would get hold of a ecowater water conditioner right away.

I found the same to be true, our old softener fell apart inside the tank, we replace with the one called the Refiner. The damage the old one cost was more than the cost of the new softener. I wish I would have known ahead of time the poor quality I had in my previous one. I would have made a change sooner

How do you rest the service overdue warning

JimWalkerSoftner

My softener goes into regin. mode sporadically. I've had it checked twice by service contractor and they said it cycled fine and they couldn't find any indication why this is happening. Any other people who've had this problem?
