Meteor Meet and Greet, Gatwick

Both the drop off and collection was super quick. No hanging about. The phone line got answered immediately and the car was picked up within 4 minutes. On return it was dropped off within 6 minutes. Excellent value for money. Staff was friendly and polite. 100% all around.

There was an additional 17 miles on my mileage please, are your car parks that far away?

I have not had a happy experience with the firm, far from it. Even when I rang 24 hours before my flight to see if I could adjust my drop off time by 15 minutes I was told “that wasn’t possible” and “that I have a problem”. What a nice thing to say for such a simple request, especially when it says in your terms to call at least 24 hours in advance for adjustments, is 15 minutes really asking a lot?

My car also had damage to back bumper and wheel arch:-

The dents and scratches to my car are visible on the back left wheel arch and back bumper, it looks like its been reversed into a wall, nice! Even the bloke was quick to get away and didn’t apologise for the inconvenience which just made me angry. In fact I had to wait 25 minutes for my car to be delivered even though my flight was on time, so perhaps he crashed it and didn’t know what to do, hence the delay.

Customer service won't take a phone call to discuss either, absolute joke this firm, stay clear.

I used South Terminal Meteor meet and greet parking service

We have used Meteor and other airports and have always experienced a good service. However, this is not the case at Gatwick airport. The pickup and drop area is a very small and the valet attendants are not allowed to leave vehicles there for any length of time. This results in circling the airport until a space is available and more frustratingly having to wait 30 minutes for your vehicle when you return. Finally, don't bother trying to use the service if you require the use of a luggage trolley as the car may be parked accross the road and it is not possible to transfer the trolley across the road as the pavement does not dip to allow a trolley to cross.

Have used meet and greet parking for years no problem but had horrible experience with Meteor driver on return from a trip at the weekend. When we arrived we were given written instructions for the return. We called the number and ended up going to the wrong place because he did not say ignore the written instructions, which are apparently now wrong, but they still give them out. We rang again after waiting and apologised that we got confused and were greeted by exceptionally rude and aggressive driver. He accused us of phoning before we collected our luggage. There was no "hello" just a rant about "this is no waiting", "why'd you go wrong place!" He only calmed down when I asked to look at his name badge.
