after 3 days of placing the order for makita breaker (basic model, other shops have this tool from stock), I was told that they can deliver breaker in 4 weeks. They offer cheap tools, but can't deliver them on time. perhaps delivery comes by ship from supplier in china.

Ordered a Makita MLT100. Qouted 2-3 days delivery. Came in two days. Clear communication. No issues. Will definatley use them again.

I'm fustrated by being ignored, numerious messages left asking them to call me back with a status on my order but still no goods and no response.

Wouldn't deal with them again.

Have ordered various fixings and 7 days later I am still waiting. We are a business and thought we would save money on screws and adhesives. Saved £20 on order but after seven days we have easily lost that on sorting out alternatives for work and calling/emailing Powertools2u without reply.

Very unprofessional and do not understand how they could be this poor.

The Paslode IM350 I bought was about £20 cheaper than the other sites and it arrived within a couple of days. I contacted them about some technical info and they answered within 15 mins. Probably buy from here again

I bought a DeWalt DC759KA from Powertool2u as they had the best price I could find - delivered on time and the drill is just what I needed. Would buy again!

This company has had some very bad reviews in the past and I was nervous about ordering. After speaking to the staff on the phone I discovered that they have recently changed management as the group who own the company SIG plc realised it was going in the wrong direction and wanted to turn it around. I thought with a company that size behind it my money was at least safe! No problems at all with my order and I recommend anyone who has been put off in the past, gives them another go.

Had to write this due to the number of people writing poor reviews. Although I don't doubt their frustrating / indifferent experiences, I ordered a machine polisher from the site on 5th May after sending an email to the customer service team the night before and receiving a professional and prompt reply. The polisher came next day.

It was also by far the cheapest I had seen online and delivery was free & next day.

had to write this, basically ordered the drill and came on time only the drill didnt just a empty case1 obviously rather annoyed but worried too. googled this forum and saw loads of negative feedback and straight away scared myself, thought id been done over! anyway called them and although the call centre isnt the greatest the guy on the other side was able to sort the prob out and next day i had the complete set!

so to conclude, apart from the original mistake they did sort it out and were infact very good throughout the whole process

i would use again

cheapest around ,but comes at great cost, Placed order 15th march with 2 to 3 day delivery time arrived 15th april. No e-mails from them about late delivery only replys to my inquiries.22nd march in reply promised 1 more week to delivery ,waited till 13 april then in reply was told country out of stock will now have to wait until may 3rd .Decided that have'n waited this long and that i had also copied last e-mail into head office moaning about poor customer service ,i would wait and to my surprise it arrived two days later or as they would probably say two and a half weeks early.Oh and just to form no e-mail informing me about the order being dispatched, good job somebody was in!

They quote

"We always aim to keep in stock, the majority of products displayed on our site, but this cannot always be possible. Should an item be out of stock at the time of processing, it will be ordered in from the manufacturer. We will keep you informed by email of any estimated due dates should this be the case." NOT IN THIS CASE.
