Rubbish Luggage
Bought a lightweight durable piece of Landor light weight luggage It was not cheap and I expected to get more than a few years out of this luggage. The whole case cracked and the zip ripped away from the case. It's now an unusably piece of luggage and I am so disappointed.
Having a 10 yr guarantee is not worth the paper its writer on according to the reviews I have just read. I would like someone from Landor & Hawa to let me know if I am wasting my time pursuing a replacement for this piece of luggage.

Unable to purchase wheels to replace wheels that broke in travel, so I need to throw out my three piece set. What a piece of junk.

Do Not Buy
The framework of my large SUB-0-G trolley suitcase broke after 3 normal uses. I was going to contact Landor & Hawa regarding the 10 year warranty but after reading the reviews realise what a waste of time that would be. I have the original receipt and guarantee cards but am going to cut my losses. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

10 Year Guarantee Is Rubbish
Sub O G Worlds lightest case.
The entire inside metal frame collapsed the second time this case was used. I took photographs and contacted the makers Landor & Hawa.
At first their emails were polite and asked for more photos, I unzipped the lining and took more photos of the broken frame.
I also sent a copy of their 10 yr guarantee and the swing ticket off the case showing store where I bought it, JT Hughes, it showed the bar code and the discounted price of £50 They then asked for the original receipt, I didn't keep this and thought the guarantee and store ticket should suffice. They refused to offer any recompense saying they had different policies for different stores and needed the receipt. I fail to see what bearing this had on a faulty case. They were adamant in their refusal, so their 10 yr guarantee is worthless, even with the store ticket.
Don't even think about purchasing, this is not a robust item and you will not be compensated for any failure of merchandise by the manufacturer. In future I will stick to Antler or Samsonite.

Laptop Rucksack
I bought a laptop rucksack for business trips and the fabric started fraying after a few uses. They said I would have to visit a shop to get a replacement but the shop I purchased it from closed down and the next nearest was to far away to make it worth it.
Had a union jack on the back - but made in China.
It wasn't faulty workmanship just wrong fabric for job.
Shall not be buying anything else from this company

Luggage....bad Investment!
Loved the look and weight of the luggage. I purchased 2 pieces ... the large and the small carry on less than one year ago.
However...the handles do not work....the handle won't even come up on the large one and it will only go down half way on the small one...now what!?? of course, I didn't keep the papers....so I'm stuck with broken luggage that's less than one year old! Thought buying them from AAA, they would be good... wrong..

Sub-o-g
Really bad experience with this suitcase. This item was purchased especially for airline travel because of its weight but after using twice it has frayed around the bottom corner on the internal supporting tube. After complaining I was told the guarantee only covers handles, zips, wheels and seams and no responsibility by the retailers would be accepted. I was told the damage must have been caused by mishandling. I consider this to be a suitcase obviously not suitable for luggage. I may as well have thrown the considerable amount of cash down the drain.
I bought 2 of these 'Worlds Lightest Cases' for air travel. They were never easy to handle and went out of shape when stood in the vertical position. After a recent holiday the case was totally out of shape so I investigated. I found one of the horozontal supports to be broken and a vertical support was missing (missed during manufacture). Reading the warranty it is obvious that what you state is very apt. This luggage is not robust enough for third party handling. I have replaced some of the plastic supports with metal structures but now I am just going to wait until the fabric tears, the low quality zips break, the handles jam or the wheels drop off. This luggage is of the lowest quality and sold at a premium price. It is made in China rubbish.

Bad Buy.............!!!
I bought 2 of the Worlds lightest suitcases, from Landor and Hawa luggage, at £65 each – Sub-0-G. The minute I packed my bags, I regretted buying them. The reason they are so light is because they are SOOOOOOOOO thin and cannot take the wear and tear of travel. After one trip abroad the suitcase is ripped and the handles scuffed. The items are protrude through the suitcase due to the thin material and there is no cushioning which caused items to damage. On return from my holiday, 2 weeks ago, I tried to get Landor and Hawa to honour their 10 year guarantee but they wrote back saying it was the airlines responsibility!! My cheaper suitcases have lasted me over 10 trips abroad and this one has lasted one trip abroad and is definetly not worth the price!!
Not durable, not value for money and none stretchable so fits very little in.
I agree with you entirely. The concept of these cases is excellent but in reality they are not fit for the purpose they were designed. I have also contacted the company and they just try to shift the blame onto the customer.
Q&A
My landor-hawa-domo-faux-suede-laptop suitcase was stolen. Olive green with tan handles, wheels. I would do anything to get it replaced. Nothing else even comes close. Cannot find it anywhere online. Can anyone help?
Fibreglass rods broken in transit whilst on holiday, can we get replacements? Case only two years old.
I've got a suitcase I bought a few years ago and the frame has started to crack only used it twice. I can't find my receipt or label. I've emailed the company and they never reply back. What can I do? I think £50.00 on a suitcase is a lot to be only used once.
Where do I find the contact details for Landor and Hawa? I have a lightweight suitcase (4 years old) in need of exchange or refund as the trolley handle will not move up or down and one of the pockets has split. Still under their 10 year guarantee.
I have been very pleased with my cases apart from the corners getting very worn. Do you have any reinforcements or ideas for repairing them?
