Overpriced And Poor Quality
I really fell in love with this brand from the styling and the fact that their cabin bag has an extra long handle and a bag wheels beautifully. You will not believe that I am now about to receive my fourth bag! All four have broken down. Cracks appeared in the plastic. They were irrepairable. I don’t even carry much weight in a cabin bag so for this to happen is unacceptable. Clearly, the brand relies on its name but not really it’s quality. The bag I had was a salsa hybrid deluxe at £660 in major UK outlets! Luckily I imported it from a German online retailer for approximately £360. What I will say is that emails to this brand have always come back with courtesy and a no questions asked policy other than simply providing photographs as evidence. I have been with the brand three years. So you will appreciate that to be on Bag number 4 is actually quite laughable. I am just about to buy a bag for £40, versus the value of 660… It is clear to me which one will be the winner

Worst Suitcase I Ever Bought
Ok I thought that being slightly ancient I would buy THE suitcase to last me for the rest of my tiem here.Bugger the cost lets get the best.I purchased the large aluminium suitcase from Rimowa.I fly on average around 1-2 times per month.The damn case has been in for repair at least 6 times in the first 3 years.Wheels come off/locks get broken.Rimowa custoemr service here in Hkg sucks.They actually told me its the airlines fault as they do not treat the cases nicely and I should get the airline to fix it if its broken...........Heh Guys,with a 5 year warranty I expect the manufacturer to try nd respond in a positive manner.
Sortry but have been using Samsonite for donkeys years and apart from zip failure sometimes they are reliable.So Rimowa apart from costing a fortune they do not stand up well to frequent use and compared toSamsonite they are CRxP.
