Loftplan came highly recommended by a neighbour. I can honestly say, I wouldn't hesitate to now recommend them myself.

From the very first meeting, I was impressed with their knowledge, advice and professionalism. Initially, I did't really know what was possible to achieve, but I now have a loft space bigger and better than I ever would have imagined.

Every member of the Loftplan Team was courteous, tidy and respectful. I was kept informed and consulted throughout every stage of the build.

The workmanship was superb and everything was carried out to the highest standard.

The aftercare has been exceptional. I had a small issue in the bathroom over a year after completion. I contacted Loftplan and the issue was rectified immediately, They sent out a Team without hesitation and the problem was solved

all as part of their exceptional service. That for me, speaks volumes. No questioning, no hesitation, no fobbing off. Just a genuine desire to keep the customer happy and sort things out.

During last year we requested a visit to look at our ideas for a loft conversion and also single storey extension and some changes to the downstairs area. We made this clear at the outset.

The consultant arrived on time and was very efficient and indicated that Loft Plan could only do the loft. As the conversation progressed, the chatter then moved towards, 'well, we can arrange for other work to be done'. I have an email containing wording 'happy to provide you with a quotation for the ground floor changes'.

He went away and we were expecting some form of drawings (at least for the loft).

Time went on...and since mid October 2016 have heard nothing.

I'm sure they do good jobs of lofts, but their model seems completely geared to this - wham bam loft done. No focus on anything else.

It would have been better not to agree to provide drawings for the project, rather say they will and deliver nothing - in fact not even a courtesy call or email to say sorry, we unfortunately do nothing other than lofts.

Provides me with no confidence for any recommendation other than poor.

Words could not describe how pleased we are with loft plan. From start to Finnish they have been polite , professional and answered our many questions.

I couldn't thank them enough , the room looks amazing and being our first house they advised us well and we couldn't be happier.

Every tradesman that has entered our house has been polite and courteous and understanding of our needs and have been great with our small children.Every one has bent over backwards to ensure we could continue with family life , even the little things as locking up for us and we even trusted them with our keys when we went on holiday. They are very tidy and cleared up at the end of every day.

The quickness and neatness of the work shows how professional they are.

With all work of a complex nature there are bound to be some problems, however, these were dealt with promptly and efficiently. We are writing to thank you for the excellent job you and your team have done on both our loft conversions. We were so pleased with the original conversion of our main loft in to two rooms plus a spacious landing space, that more recently we asked you to come back to do another conversion.

The building work went very smoothly and the people who worked on our conversions were very professional. The inconvenience was minimal and when the job was completed it was hard to believe that the builders had been in.

I was further impressed with the willingness to return afterwards to address a few minor problems.

Based on our experience we would have no hesitation in recommending Loftplan to anyone who requires a loft conversion.

Our house has been considerably extended having commissioned Loft Plan to undertake our loft conversion. The large master bedroom, bathroom and small "office" area is now the crown jewel of the property. The finishing is exemplary, and the full bathroom suite fitted ingeniously. No space is wasted. The windows fill the room with light and provide commanding views.

As promised, over the period of 8 weeks, work started promptly at 7:30 in the morning and finished at 5pm. When required, Loft Plan stayed later to finish a task so as to ensure the project remained on schedule. For this we were very grateful. When it came to the quality of the build, they were faultless. We have been very pleased with the overall quality of the work and I would confidently recommend this loft conversion company.

Loftplan finished our loft in August and we're still over the moon with the finished result - a very modern and spacious bedroom & en-suite. The staff in the office were helpful and the guys on site punctual and hardworking. These guys really know loft conversions.

It has been a few weeks now since you’ve completed our loft conversion and we can stand back and admire the professional design and quality finish that you have provided. From the first visit by your designer, to the hand over with the supervisor, we are very happy that we choose Loft Plan to extend our home.

The conversion has made a massive difference to our family allowing us to move the children into larger light and more spacious rooms and for us to move up into a new fantastic master bedroom with a huge ensuite.

I cannot speak highly enough of all your workforce who without exception were polite and hardworking at all times and who were a pleasure to have around. We were kept informed at the relevant stages of the build, which allowed us to make the best decisions at the right time.

It did take a few weeks longer then estimated but as we were told ‘were not in a race’ and the quality of the finished rooms are a testament to that.

We are happy to recommend Loft Plan and have already done so to friends and family.

We would just like to say how pleased we are with our loft conversion and the people that you sent to extend our home.

The main carpenters were excellent and did a great job. They were a pleasure to have around, polite and tidy and extremely hard working.

They answered all of our questions and even made suggestions on improving the layout of the en-suite bathroom!

The scaffolders worked in torrential rain and the plastering is superb!

The supervisors were very helpful and did a good job of overseeing the job and all the trades.

Overall this has been a good experience and we will naturally recommend Loftplan to anyone who asks.

Loftplan Designs Limited started work on extending our home and converting our loft in January 2014. In April 2014 we had to point out the very poor workmanship and non-compliance with Building Regulations (there are insufficient cavity wall ties and the cavity trays are unacceptable, which were proven by retrospective inspections as Loftplan continually insisted that everything was fine), and after a three month period of being treated appallingly and of outright rudeness,we took the matter to the Federation of Master Builders, which resulted in us having to instigate the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors' Adjudication process in July 2014. The adjudicator's decision was that "the workmanship to the bricklaying is very poor" and "sufficiently significant that it is necessary to demolish and re-build complete". Having lost all confidence in Loftplan's ability, the decision furthermore stated that Lofplan had to pay for another company to do this and Loftplan were ordered to pay us the full amount by mid September 2014. They failed to do this and only paid when we were about to file court papers for summary judgment. 

In addition to the brickwork we had numerous other issues with Loftplan and due to their incompetence, for example almost without fail every time a plumber did any work, we were either left with no water or heating or had a leak, and due to their lack of respect for our home, we have had to employ our own plumber and are currently obtaining quotes from plasterers to redo a substantial amount of the plaster work. 

Loftplan tried to get our review removed, claiming that they had paid on time. This was proved to be a blatant lie by the submission of an email from the FMB and a screen shot of text messages between us and the company which showed they only paid on the day we were about to file court papers.
