Orange G3 Mountain Bike 2010

After riding Giant XTC's for the past 15 years or so, I decided to have a change and Orange was at the front of my mind. I bought an Orange G3 2010 6 months ago and this bike is everything that the manufacturer says it is!! It is reliable, it glides over the hardest of terrain and you can do absoluately anything with this bike!! The bike is equiped with Shamano Rapid Fire shifters, these are great and just click into place (had no problems with these - so far so good!!). The brake system is great (Avid Juicy) hydraulic disk brakes. The brakes stop on a six pence!! The bike came with flat peddles in which I upgraded to clipless SPD's - this is a must to get the most from the bike!! Tyres, I am used to riding / using Panaracer - this bike has Continentel 2.2 which are good but I will admit, I will be changing back to Panaracer when they are dead. The rubber dosen't seem to be as robust as the Panaracer but still good all the same. I would suggest this bike to anyone who is into serious off roading as it will and can tackle the hardest of terrains. Fantastic bike, great buy, I don't think I will ever go back to Giant after riding an Orange bike!! Well done Orange for this fantastic machine!!
