No Its Not An Exageration.. After 13 Ye
No its not an exageration..
After 13 years of driving cars and always dreaming of riding a bike, I bought myself a CB 400 for 1200 pounds.. Yeap its expensive you can find one for 5-6oo quid. But mine had 2 previous owners and only 13000km on the clock (with MOT's to prove it)
Now on the bike.. First of all, she rides like a bicyle but looks like a big bike.. She's dead cheap to ride and insure, has enough power for around town, shell forgive your mistakes, and she ll carry a 1.5m Almax Immobiliser and Squire lock under the seat too!! what else can you ask from a bike?
What she needs if you ask me is stiffer shock absorbers cause I quite tall and heavy at 110kg and 1.85cm.. imagine that everyone is telling me how this bikes suits me! ha ha.. I thought I d look like on a scooter.. And the gf, who was against bikes fell in love with her.. (yes my CB400 is a she..)
I m keeping this one.. The re is no point of ever selling it.. yes when I get some cash I ll get a second and a third bike but this one stays.. Compared to the XJ6 I rode on my DAS, she feels so much lighter, and manouvreable.. and all the instructors told me that this bike will live forever.. They had CB400s before the XJ6's and they should know..
If you re looking for a bike that wont scare you, wont cost you a fortune to buy/maintain/insure etc, and still look cool on it, this is what you want..
Happy and safe riding whatever you ll get!
