Atlantis At210 Review
I have owned an Atlantis AT210 for several years now after previously owning a Waterside softener. My plumber recommended I made the switch to Atlantis after the Waterside died a death. I have found the Atlantis very economical on salt and very easy to use. It is an excellent product backed up by a superb customer service department and the 10 year guarentee is an added bonus (although i have had no need to take advantage of this). Would recommend to all!

Have had this softener for over 4 years now. It replaced a 10 year old Permutit. I judged Permutit were not building to the same quality and so did my research. The AT 210 has performed faultlessly in a household with high water usage and unusually high water pressure. As claimed it is much more economical with salt usage than the Permutit it replaced. The water metering obviously works very well. The regeneration cycle is very quiet. The unit is very compact, easy to set up and requires little attention. Salt usage is surprisingly low needing infrequent top-ups despite having to treat London's very hard water. If you want a trouble free softener which is economical to run look no further.
I've been told that it does a partial regeneration when needed. They say that it only takes 20 minutes during which you can use the water but for 5 minutes it will be hard water. Is that right? I've been trying to decide between the Atlantis and an Ensign softener which is also metered and calculates when to regenerate but always does it at 2am...
Thought I'd take the time to report another two years of faultless and economical service. Delighted with this product.
So three years on my Atlantis AT 210 continues to run faultlessly ( hope I'm not tempting fate) and remains amazingly economical on salt. It's a pleasure to be able to recommend a top quality product.
