For only the second time since I knew of them, I contacted ICE to check on their exchange rate for Euros and also to read their contractual terms.
On both counts they were extremely competitive, so I placed an order for £500 of Euros.
I was very impressed with the simplicity of their website and even more impressed when the required Euros arrived the very next day before 1000 hours. (In North Wales).
No doubt I shall be using them again later this year.AC

When boking my holidays i always use lowcost holidays as i always get the best and lowest price and value for my vacation so come on people give it a try you will be amazed. overall fantastic. xxxx
Ok Until You Want Help
We booked with this company onthe basis that they offered experience in the holiday market. We have booked with non standard holiday companies before and found them very good. We asked for higher end hotels on this occasion as we both needed a good rest. This company supplied all the requested documentation in accordance with the recommendations given by the person taking the booking.They also booked pick ups from the airports to the hotels we were staying at.
It therefore came as a big shock that when we arrived at our 1st airport after a 12 hour flight, at 06.30 in the morning, to be told that the car company had no record of our booking. After 2 hours, we were put in a taxi and sent to our hotel, being told to try and claim back the taxi fare once we got back to the UK. I have to be fair and say that the situation for the rest of the holiday was sorted within a day.
The 1st two hotels were as described but the 3rd, where we were to spend the greatest length of time was not as requested and left us somewhat disenchanted.
Upon return to the UK I found the only way to communicate with this company is via letter. Even then they state that they require a significant time to asnwer any questions.
When the reply came, they refunded the cost of the taxi, as an ex-gracia payment!!
There was no mention of a refund of the cost of the car we never received, nor any mention of an apology. In addition, when refering to the last hotel, they hid behind the "Terms and Conditions" stating that it was up to us to find out about the hotels. Surely that is not what we pay this type of company for. If that is the case, why not book the whole thing on line and save the cost of their service.
Ther are numerous good holiday bookers out there, use them, but not this one.

Fantastic Holiday.booked Through Lowcost Holidays.
Excellent service throughout.Stayed at the Marianna studios in Tingaki Kos.Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean,along with all other areas of the hotel.Would certainly recoomend these studios.All the staff were very friendly,excellent bar for the evening.Stayed for two weeks from the 29/08/11.Be back next year.

Holiday In Turkey
I booked with Lowcost Holidays for a Holiday in Turkey to Antalya. Lowcost Holidays were easy to use, no problems. Holiday was just as described, hotel was fine transfers showed up on time, basically everything was good. Whenever I contacted Lowcost Holidays I received a good service. Would recommend Lowcost Holidays to anyone and looking at them again for next year.

This is the first time we have booked through an online company and we were suprised at how easy it was. We were looking for a particular destination online and Low Cost Holidays were the only company to have our hotel listed. We were able to book and pay in installments for the holiday and when the final payments are made the tickets for flights, insurance, transfers and hotel are all printable from your online account which saves the worry a few weeks before departure of wheres the tickets?
We followed all the instructions on the paperwork and everything was fine even the baggage allowance is stated on the forms.
We booked transfers from and to the airport at our destination and with the voucher we had printed this was straight forward, just handed in the voucher and they sent us to the car park for our own minibus, on return the bus was outside our hotel just a few minutes late but no problems.
The hotel booking was great as when we booked having previously stayed there we put in the any other requests section the rooms that we would prefer if possible and they had this information to hand when we arrived and they did match our request.
Over all I would recommend this type of booking to anyone who like me normally would go to a travel agent

Our entire holiday ... (Insurance, flights,airport transfers , 14 day long stay parking , additional baggage allowance, boarding passes and All inclusive hotel) was ALL booked through lowcostholidays
Every single minute of our holiday was fault-free ! .... flights on time both ways , airport parking £70 cheaper than airport price (when you book online with lowcost hols)printout boarding passes , quick efficient and easy , transfers to and from airport arived early + very efficient
Overall very impressed and very satisfied (family of four - 2 adults + 2 teenagers)

Booked A Cruise With The Holiday Collection Group.
Booked a cruise with the holiday collection group. When I emailed to enquire about an airport transfer they never got back to me. Despite spending £1500 with them they did not have the courtesy to reply. I wrote 4 emails but got replies to none of them.
They are very quick to take your booking and your money but their customer service is non existent.
I would definately NOT recommend them.
