Would just like to say thank you to my lovely driving instructor for helping me through my fear of driving and helping me out every single leason.. Thank you sooo much for helping me pass my theory and practical test and making my anxiety at ease such a kind and caring man with lots of paitenets he always listened and was more than a driving instructor he was like a friend you feel comfortable and confident to tell him everything and you know he will help no matter what thank you to this instructor from aldershot around the bend driving you have helped me get freedom and confidence on the road.

I would just like to say that around the bend are brilliant, my instructor was brilliant, she calmed my nerves and got me to believe I could do it, she went though everything very carefully making sure I understand it all, booking lessons with her was very easy nothing was to much trouble, I had tried years before to pass my test but had failed so ended up giving up, but with my instructor this time was different she understood my worries, I just can’t thank her enough for getting me though it, I would highly recommend her for anyone thinking of wanting to learn to drive,

After 20+ hours of lessons every thing going great on time nice and polite. instructor said I was ready to book test, which I did carried on having lessons to be told day before and on the day that I would fail,to change test date and have more lessons,had me in tears twice shouted at me. Im a strong person could handle it but if it was some one not so strong think they would of quit.passed my driving test just want to warn people that this certain instructor seems to want to get as many lessons as possible and not put u though test.

Maybe people should think about how they drive in a logo covered car, especially when advertising a driving school!! Was harassed by a driver of an 'Around the bend' car, who then went on to tailgate another motorist. Would put me off recommending them! :(

After numerous attempts to pass my test, including with independent instructors and others at Around the Bend that left in a short space of time I went with the person I dealt with (also of Around the Bend) on a friend's recommendation. He was polite, kind, tolerant and in a different league compared to other instructors I had. Having failed my test once with an independent instructor I had a lot of confidence issues but he took his time and allowed me to make improvements every lesson, whilst not putting me forward for the practical test again until he knew I would pass - and I did!

I would recommend him to absolutely anybody - male, female, young, old - looking for a reliable instructor!

Following a great start with a helpful instructor my 17 year old son has been dumped through no fault of his, 3 weeks before his driving test without what I consider to be a good reason. We have now had to scour the internet to find an alternative and had to pay premium prices as short notice. A shame as he seemed a real nice guy.

My instructor was fantastic, always spoke everything throughly and knew what he was talking about. So glad that I went with around the bend!!

They have been so helpful and friendly. The advisor in Great Ayton was very professional and relaxed at the same time, I really enjoyed my lessons with him! I passed my driving test first time on the 16th February 2016 and i have had only 24 hours lesson from them plus about 20-30 hours with my parents. I highly recommend this company and wish everyone happy and safe driving.

I had an excellent instructor and she really knew her stuff. She was very patient and optimistic. She took her time and really understood my needs while driving and also my lifestyle so we could book lessons without stress. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking to start or restart driving as I had been with a few different instructors before I started with around the bend and they are by far the best I have had and they really take time to help with anything that needs work.

My instructor was absolutely amazing, determined to teach me every aspect of driving technics, helped me to overcome my fear and showed great level of patience.
