Marked Stained Item
I bough a wash baisn and came dirty stained with marks. I complained via email and customer service said: "all this needs is a spray of water and a wipe down". I bought item as brand new so expect to be clean. Never buy from them again.

I ordered a kitchen sink from Discounted Heating the Monday and it was delivered on Thursday morning 9am by my local Plumb Centre.
Easy ordering process, fairly quick delivery considering it was free, and the item delivered was exactly what I had ordered and in perfect condition, so generally very impressed.
Only one small problem was that I received an order confirmation when placing the order, but was not informed when delivery was due, I happened to phone the previous day and knew when it was coming so I could make sure I was in.

I ordered a couple of special washers which were supposed to be in stock, and therefore assumed quick delivery by post. Got an email to say that my order had been passed to someone else, so immediately cancelled by email. Got no response, so emailed again. Got no response. Delivery attempted and declined by me several days later. Despite several emails and letters, I have still not got a refund. About a month later they again tried to deliver the order!!! . About to commence legal action. They are totally incompetent. I will never use them again.

I ordered two radiators, like others after placing my order and making payment I was sent a confirmation of order email. The following day I received an email regarding dispatch and that the item would be posted out once in stock - I had at no point in the ordering process been informed that it wasn't in stock. I asked how long and was informed 2 weeks, so I waited. I then had to chase them for over 3 months until I sent an official complaint letter. They put the blaim on their assumptions and the courier, yet I had to chase them to chase the courier every time x 3. Discountedheating wouldn't accept that it was their problem but would not give me the contact number for the courier so I could sort out myself directly. Tried to fob me off saying that I needed to quote the original ref and that's my fault. They held onto a large amount of my money without any offer of compensation for over 3 months. Don't waste your time with this company and pay more elsewhere for better service. Have yet to check the radiators are in A1 condition!
New Owners (wolseley) Not Honouring Gift Vouchers
Told by customer services that they have gone into administration and had been taken over by Wolseley. I had a £25 M+S voucher promised on a December purchase, which they say Wolseley will not honour. So it looks like both Discounted Heating and Wolseley are off my list of suppliers.

Very happy with DH service. They pretty much bent over backwards helping me wth re-fitting my bathroom, friendly and imformative answering all my questions. delivery was prompt and the payment was straghtforward. And now i have a newly kitted out bathroom that I am more than pleased with. Would highly recommend!!!
Sell Stock They Don't Have And Hang On To Your Money

I cancelled the order by email and phone and was told that I would be refunded (via PayPal as per payment) the same day. Had to chase refund for days and did not receive refund until opening a case with PayPal.
Can't trust again and do not deal with merchants that 'sell' stock that they do not have!

Do Not Use! Totally Unreliable Website & Customer Service
I placed an order worth £1500 with this company. Immediately the website had problems. I used 1 address for delivery and another for billing. The confirmation screen (no email was ever sent to my account) listed my billing address as both delivery and billing address. Consequently I had to ring the company to clarify my items would arrive to the correct address. I also wanted to know when it would be delivered, as the website had failed to provide any guidance as to delivery timescales whatsoever.
I rang the company. The woman I spoke to was utterly disinterested. She didn't know when the item would arrive and did not make any attempt to find out, even thought my order was urgent and I told her so. She couldn't change my delivery address until the order appeared on her system. The system wasn't going to be updated for a further 5 hours and so she would need to call back. I had a query about a part also. The woman I spoke to was disinterested about this also and gave me an expensive technical helpline number at valliant to call instead. fyi: when i rang the number they said I had been provided with the wrong service helpline number and gave me another number to ring again.
Another woman called back that afternoon. She was equally as disinterested in my order. I told her that I would like to cancel the order as I was not confident of their service or delivery times. I wanted a refund. She lazily said 'ok' and went to put the phone down!! I actually had to hold her up to ask her for confirmation of the process that would ensure I got my money back! No interest was shown as to why I had cancelled my order.
I wrote a complaint email at the weekend when I checked my PayPal account and the money had not been refunded. This was not responded to by midday on Monday and the money had not been returned to my bank account yet so I had to ring the company. Again. Woman I spoke to was named Kay and she was much more polite and helpful. She investigated and found that my order had not been set to be refunded on Friday (no surprise). She was apologetic.
I cannot recommend this company. They have some inept and uninterested staff that do their colleagues a disservice. I placed my order elsewhere, where the customer service was beyond polite, it was reliable, proactive and helpful. If you're interested, the better service was provided by www.directheatingsupplies.co.uk. Use them. Your money is better spent there - granted it might be 20 quid more expensive, but when you are spending over a grand then it is better to have a reliable company who is interested in helping you than not to.

Having now ordered 2 items from this website and cancelling the order for an electric boiler I was promised that my Rangemaster oven would be delivered 2-3 weeks this is a lie thet can't deliver fullstop , please don't use people I'm saving you time and hassle...
