If I Could Give Zero Stars I Would!

I spent days searching for air fares that were cheap and made sure I was booking flights to the US when price trend was at it's lowest. I found great rates with govolo (I used kayak to search) and decided they had the best route and price. So I booked! Everything went smoothly and was easy, I received my confirmation email, etc. Then I began planning and booking the rest of my trip making numerous reservations (many non-refundable) to be done and have a stress-free few months leading up to our trip. Well, I wanted to call the airline to reserve a bassinet for my baby and they couldn't see our reservation. This was a weekend and it concerned me so I searched my email for our e-tickets and couldn't find them, looked up our credit card statements and couldn't find a charge for these tickets. Now we are just two weeks away from our trip, so I contact govolo and receive a response telling me they had emailed us for some information and never heard back so they cancelled our tickets! I am so furious!!! I've booked with numerous travel sites and never had an issue. Now, ticket prices are TRIPLE what I originally wanted to pay and all they could say was "visit our site and rebook" - I sent a complaint but they could care less. Not an apology or anything. Now I see why ithey are so vague with their contact info - they know they are the worst travel site out there and don't want to be bothered with trying to help. People can say to do research before booking neath a site but I didn't suspect anything and like I said I've booked with numerous sites without issue. Such a waste of time and oh let's not forget now I'm completely stressed out trying to fix this mess. Never ever book with them ever! It may be tempting and you may think everything will be okay but honestly I will never take a chance again.

Govolo: Good Prices + Interface, Promised Refund? Forget It.

I'd recommend the service with this qualification, which otherwise would have me give it four stars.

A few years ago I got someone on the phone to ask if my flights were changeable; he checked, told me yes, for a fee (of 100 euro or so) and off I went to book it. Last year, I had to cancel a small flight, and change a large flight, all for the same trip. There was no number to call, the email I sent was responded to later than the promised reasonable time, and then, the solution came way, way, way, later than reasonable - something like 3 or 4 months!! Come on! It was a real person, but the fellow said that the price of the ticket was not enough to warrant any minimal repayment of taxes.

And I'm not done - on the large flight, I filled out the very same form online, but got no autoresponse back. I wrote to the email that had a real person who answered my first request- having no real other alternative for reaching them - and it was fully and completely ignored, twice. So, on this large flight, and I can provide screenshots and reference numbers, I could have at least got the taxes back, which were sizable given pricing methods of all airlines today as we all know -- but it wasn't possible to do the way they suggest.

Finally one will become exhausted from weeks and possibly months of waiting and trying... well, that seems to be the only interpretation of their strategy.

govoyage was recommend by a Chinese school senior. indeed it provide good price, but YOU CANT REFUND and communicate normally with the company!!

Govolo- Terrible!!!

My flight has been canceled 2,5 months ago. Govolo has never returned the money for the cancelled fligt. The ignore mails and no holtline exists. I have lost 240€. I have noticed that there are many customers who have been fooled by this company. I recomand you: Stay away from this company.

Boycott Govoyage!!!!!

This is a horror story - This company is fraudulence personified. PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY - I lost 5000+€ with this company on airline tickets (worst customer service ever!!!! then went to small claims court in Paris, the judges are paid off - the court room was full of complaining customers from various companies owned by Govoyage eDreams, GO Voyages, Opodo and Travellink - GOVOYAGE are liars and invented proof that the judge accepted (a supposed cancellation email and phone conversations confirming a cancellation-which I never cancelled just before Christmas 2012- well I never saw the physical proof (they had against me) of this so called cancellation I sent them just days before my trip ) RESULTS, had to buy 2 new tickets in the airport to get to Christmas destination with partner, €5000+ euros later and one year later, Finally received the judgement decision today in the mail, from the French Small Claims court - not only did we lose, they want us to pay 100€ for bringing GOVOYAGE into court - This is a corrupted company and their judges are in bed together with these charlatans, I still can't believe it.....I'm so disgusted and revolted....this company would not last 2 days in the USA or any other high level customer service country. Even the French air travel forums & blogs are complaining about them. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and BOYCOTT this company and all its affiliated companies when traveling in Europe.

Dont Bother With Them!

This company were extremly hard to contact and i had a terrible experience. After booking a £130 flight for 14 days before i wanted to fly i recived a confirmation immeditly but never recieved my e-ticket i waited paitemly for a day or so . Still nothing and it wasnt until i was using a cash point when my card declined and i checked my online banking and i had been charged 3 times for my single flit and my australian bank account had been pretty much cleared out , they took ofer $600 aud As a 24 yr old back packer with only 2 weeks left in a county and after travelling for 8 months with no issues i was horrified! After countless emails that most wer never replied to and with my banks help and assicatance one week later my money was refunded . But i never recieved any airline tickets so i booked again with a more reputable company! Very stressfull experience !

Terrible Service!

Don't ever book with them. They're slow and hard to communicate with. I tried to book my ticket three time and despite my credit card being fine, I could never get my payment through. I don't recommend using their service unless you're bored and need something to give you an adrenaline rush.

Attention, never book with them. It's such a mess.

Never replying to questions but online is the only way you can contact them.

At the beginning luggage was included, later in the confirmation not anymore.

Most Useless Online Booking Site Ever Seen

After having booked our tickets and receiving a confirmation mail, they never processed our payment. After we noticed we still didn't have received our tickets I checked online where the status read: "payment in progress". Then the disaster starts: trying to contac Govolo. Totally impossible. The mail I sent was answered many days later by a simple: "May 29th we requested a bank transfer, as it was not done, the booking has been canceled." We had to book the tickets again (this time we used a decent online booking firm) at the extra costs of € 2.000,-- In short, a careless, useless bunch.
