Ordered a dress for a holiday and paid extra for quick delivery. Dress was very flimsy and not good quality so returned it. Was only refunded the cost of the dress and not the standard postage. Contacted Apache and they bluntly told me they didn't refund postage and it was on their website. Pointed out to them that actually under the Distance Selling Regs that's illegal but they're now ignoring me completely. Have passed it on to Trading Standards.

I bought a shirt from Apache and had it shipped to my home in Italy.

The shirt cost £30 plus shipping, but I was also charged €20 customs duty when it arrived.

This is partly my fault, I assumed that sales to EU would have the duty included in the shipping cost. Or the item value was below some limit that Apache knew. It wasn't.

My complaint is that Apache didn't make any mention of customs on their site, when it's obviously an EU order.

They also wrote the wrong value of £50 on the postage docket which pushed up the duty amount.

I complained and they gave me one of those "we're sorry if you feel that way" non-apologies.

The shirt itself was a size too big, but given the hassle and expense so far, I didn't think it was worth returning. I paid another €10 to have it adjusted.

The shirt itself was very nice. Apache is probably ok if you're a UK customer, but I'd advise non-UK to avoid. Their customer service could be much better.

I just bought a Diesel Jacket called wittor melton, I'd tried it on at a look shop and almost bought it but check online for a sale and found it at apache for half price.. £100 off brilliant.

It must of shipped the same day as I got the jacket the next after ordering even without paying for next day delivery..
