Panasonic FZ45

Panasonic DMC-FZ45 Bridge Camera.

I have used a Panasonic camera for many years (Model DMC-LC33B)I found it brilliant but as cameras and technology have moved on I began to feel that this model was just not enough for my purposes.

I have not seen the model I bought in the listing so I must be the first to review this model (Panasonic Lumix FZ45) Know not as a DSLR or a compact camera but firmly placed in between these two camera types - A Bridge camera.

I paid £245 for my camera and if you look you will find at time of writing that this price is quite good since most other suppliers are charging about £20 or £30 plus for the very same model (Date: 03-03-2011)

This is one of the best cameras I have seen for the money, so many settings and functions - Giving a great choice for the learner/novice of many automatic settings and presets - Giving the Professional/practiced amateur an vast array of manual settings and choices.

This camera is light in weight and not too large so as to make it hard to handle.

One really great feature that stands out particularly is the 24 time zoom feature along with its ability to shoot at great distance it is also very canny when used in closeup (macro mode)

With 14 Mega pixels and a very good quality lens (Leica)this camera has I feel got it all.

There are so many features it is impossible to record them all here so I would suggest going online and reviewing these features for yourself.

It is of course also possible to take High Definition quality footage with this model and stereo sound too.

Just one more thing this camera comes complete with: Battery, charger, USB Connection cable, AV cable, 2x CD ROMs, Shoulder strap, Lens cap with string and a Lens Hood.

To sum up:

I have deliberately tried to avoid being too technical, I have mentioned only the very basics of this item because there is so much about this camera it is essential you go online.

If you want a camera that looks, feels and also gives quality in use then you cannot go wrong for such a small price.
