Poor Service
It took them 2 weeks following my order to let me know that the blinds l had ordered were no longer stocked, advising of another colour of the same make. They were then sent out as promised - but the advised colour was nothing like their picture and also sent the wrong fixings (l ordered face fixings and they sent top fixings). I had to ring and she said "are you sure they are top fixings" and about the colour "that's why we advise colour swatches", also when l said they don't reply to emails very quickly - l got told there were over 180 emails waiting and only so many staff and computers!

Terrible Company With No Customer Service
Ordered blinds in march and had not heard anything about order so called on 12 April and was told there was no problem with order ( company had taken lots of orders over Easter?) and I could expect delivery week commencing 16 April. Just received email 15 April informing me that fabric I ordered has been discontinued? What a total waste of time. MY ADVICE IS TO USE ANOTHER COMPANY AS THIS ONE CANNOT BE TRUSTED.

Product Not As Described, Poor Quality, Unreliable Company
The first time I bought on the site, the blinds were not as described.They were of poor quality and did not meet the specifications, they should have been easy clean but they turn into pink when I tried to clean some tiny spots with water.
When a couple of years later I got fed up of seeing them always dirty, I contacted customer service so that they could advise me about how to place the order to get the same (or similar louvres) to the ones I had. I have to explained twice the same request because it seems they were not reading the request. Then I followed to the letter their instructions and I received the wrong blinds. Their website was faulty, the advise was wrong and yet they rejected to refund or replace the order. All in one, a very disappointing experience, a waste or time and money.

Diabolical Delivery Service
Two sets of blinds were ordered on the 18th December 2015 with me paying extra for their speedy next day delivery service to avoid them arriving whilst we were away for Xmas. Today, the 5th January 2016, I am still waiting for their delivery, there having been two occasions when their courier failed to deliver and one whereby Vertical Blinds Direct forgot to actually send the blinds to their couriers for delivery.
It seems that even when providing such a shoddy delivery service, the couriers time remains more precious than the time of the customer as Vertical Blinds Direct will not deliver them to suit my commitments despite the failure on three occasions to deliver as promised. I am expected to sit in all tomorrow waiting patiently for the courier and if I can't do that, Blinds Direct suggest that I ask a neighbour to take them in on my behalf. I think not!
Can I find a positive to this p. p. performance? Yes, on my suggestion, the transport costs are being refunded whilst Vertical Blinds Direct have offered a 10% discount off the cost of the blinds. I would have gladly gone without any discount and paid my transport costs to have not endured three wasted days waiting for blinds that never arrived.

Great Service
Very quick service. Had a problem with the length of the louvres, but on contacting the company, this was put right immediately (even though it was my measuring that was wrong) and new ones were sent the same day. Only ordered louvres at first as already had headrail, but on receiving the louvres, it appeared they were not compatible with my old headrail. Rang company and this was also sorted out immediately, they even sent extra louvres and weights free of charge! Very easy to install - would definitely use this company again.

Do Not Buy From This Company
I placed an order on 17th May 2015 for 5 sets of vertical blinds, I spoke to the person I dealt with who was so friendly and helpful and I felt confident that I had ordered from a reputable company.
Two of the sets had a face fix bracket and the other three had top fix brackets, the top fix blinds fit perfectly and I was very pleased with them but the face fix were too short. As I had had to give the recess measurement when I ordered them it was entirely their error so I telephoned the company and spoke to another person and explained the problem, I was assured I would be treated as a priority customer and my new louvres would be sent out in 5 working days, that was over four months ago. I was falsely promised many times over the following couple of weeks that my blinds were on order, one of the Customer service staff - One man was extremely rude and discourteous to me, he spoke to me as if I were stupid I have never been treated so badly by a company in all my life, they eventually stopped answering my phone calls, the live chat and e-mails.
Luckily I had paid for the blinds by MasterCard and I contacted them for advice, they took up my case and I received my money back from them but no correspondence or apology at all from Vertical Blinds Direct.

Good Quality, Fast Delivery
Ordered for 7 windows at one house with blackout louvres, and 4 windows at another house with coloured louvres. All arrived within 5 days, well packaged.
The products were easy to fit, and on one window that turned out to have a metal lintel they provided free of charge a further set of brackets and weight chains free of charge. Customer service pleasant to deal with.
Quality of product was good. Blackout blinds did what they were advertised to do.
One downside (if you can call it that) is that you can't specify custom colours so have to go with the ones on their website (large enough selection), but would be nice to have that option.

Disappointing
Placed order for living room blinds, incl. patio door.
Unfortunately, didn't request sample to check colour but having purchased similar blinds from other sites, relied on website photos.
On receipt, blinds were totally different from expected shade.
Instead of 'stone' which I've always assumed to be a 'neutral' shade,I have peach-coloured blinds in my room.
On questioning this colour with the Company,Quality Controlstates they have supplied what I requested.
So - if ordering from this Company, request SAMPLE before purchase!!
Paid Upfront, Fobbed Off.
On the 30th April I ordered, and paid up front, for new blinds for our new bungalow. After several telephone calls and being fobbed off by being told that the blinds would be sent the following day, we have been very busy and are behind with the orders. The latest response was that the blinds would be dispatched on Tuesday or Wednesday (26/27 May) to arrive with me the following day. Today, 25th May, Email received to say that the material I ordered is out of stock and will not be in until the end of June. I have spoken to different people nearly practically every time I have telephoned and have been told a lot of untruths regarding my order. This is a company to stay well clear of. The box below asks for a rating for Value for Money, well the value for money is a big MINUS as they have my money and I do not have any blinds or any chance of them in the near future, if at all.
