Intimo Italian Restaurant - Maldon

Friends suggested that we might like to eat in Intimo as they had found it nicer than Prezzo across the road.

I have to say we were somewhat disappointed as we thought it might be as good as Il Camino down the road; it wasn't :-( The food was ok but nothing special. We ordered bread and Olives to start and on our bill were charged separately for both at £3 each. There was little more than a tiny taster for this. The starters were nice but main courses were not anything special. If I were paying £40 for a meal for two I would have happily paid but at £80 we felt it was over priced and would rather have enjoyed Il Camino down the road where food is amazing and far cheaper.
