Within a short time the trigger leaked while under guarantee. Told replacements were out of stock! After many fruitless emails I had to take out a Small Court Claim (£25.00) This spurred them into action and finally was sent a second hand replacement!

I still await a new replacement.

As they couldn't honour their guarantee I asked for either a refund or a new product. I was told that as I hadn't bought it directly from them they couldn't refund despite providing proof of purchase. There was no offer of a replacement!

Also no offer of refunding the £25.00 for proceeding with legal action.

Caveat Emptor

avoid like the plague, used twice on a medium size patio and it sprung a high pressure leak from the pump. phoned hozelock it was out of 1 year warranty by a week & 3 days.

it did clean well but at £115 for 2 hours use i will hire in future.

For its price (£80 B&Q) this is a good product. Using the lance jet & brush attachment I've blasted 70+ flags which hadn't been cleaned for years and the result is excellent. It completely obliterates weeds etc between the flags and removes the green mould on uvpc plastic as on a conservatory. It's very effective on brickwork too and with the mains switch turned off for watering the garden. Next job is the conservatory roof and then some car cleaning.

One weakness so far is a leak where the nozzle screws into the trigger hand part but some plumber's tape has sorted that out.

All in all very good value.

Bought one last week. It was about as much use as a chocolate teaspoon. Took 15 minutes to make mild impression on one 15cm square patio slab, so cleaning the whole patio would have taken forever. Tried cleaning the car, equally useless. Tried cleaning some kids' plastic toys that have been left out over winter. Useless.

Took it back to B&Q and got a refund.

Will be buying myself a stiff brush and go back to old fashioned cleaning methods.
