I recently had a new kitchen installed with integrated appliances. The washing machine door was constantly shuddering when the washing machine was on so much so I thought it was going to break!

I contacted David at First4Magnets to explain the situation and asked what they suggested. I had a response within 24 hours (actually more like 12 hours) with a link to the magnets they recommended. I ordered two and they arrived only a few days later. The packaging was excellent I must say and the magnets are spot on, the door hardly moves!

I had a query so I rang in, spoke to Eric. He understood my problem immediately and solved it within a minute. Ordered the necessary products at 3.15pm Friday [after the nominal daily deadline], received an email within an hour confirming dispatch and delivered by midday next day [Saturday]. Minor problem with the order so I rang in Monday. Sorted within a couple of minutes [no hassle, no quibble] and, following a polite apology, goods to be dispatched today AT NO ADDITIONAL COST! This is how it used to be and should be - no wonder people are attracted to your company [sorry, couldn't resist it!]

One only finds out what a companies service is when a mishap happens. They responded to emails within the hour, and will be back again.

I use these magnets for my arthritis. I already have magnetic straps from bioflow but i have added 2cm magnets on top of the ones in the straps. I wear them under my wrists and not on top. This is the position in whch they are most effective. Several years ago my left hand was so painful that I couldn't get it into my pocket and my right hand was becoming swollen but now both hands are perfectly free which is a help because I am an amateur conjurer. I also have smaller magnets attached to knee straps which already have very weak magnetic strips in them. I tend to wear the magnets round the back of my knees. I also wear elasticated stockings with magnets attached just under my ankle bones. It all has to do with the polarisation of the blood flow.In my case it works so I can only commend it to anyone else who suffers from arthritis.The product I use is from Magnet Expert Ltd.

I wasn't sure how I'd be able to replace the magnet I'd lost from my food processor. Magimix no longer supply replacement parts for my model (it's very old) and they weren't any help at all in suggesting a solution.

He took pains to establish exactly what I needed (type, size, strength), and then to explain some of the technical issues associated with these really strong magnets - he went to incredible trouble for such a small domestic order.
