I Wouldn't Have Naturally Chosen To Buy These Club
I wouldn't have naturally chosen to buy these clubs but I accepted a recommendation form Nevada Bob's and haven't looked back. These irons and a great Hogan gap wedge have accompanied me on the journey from 28 to 12 HC in the two years I have had them. I am changing to Hogan blades now, but have been been very happy with these. Great feel and forgiving for the price

Ben Hogan Edge Cft - I Was Looking For A Forgiving
Ben Hogan Edge CFT - I was looking for a forgiving set of irons with a soft feel, looks like a blade iron at address. A very good set of irons for your money.

This Is A Cut And Paste Of What I Just Emailed To
This is a cut and paste of what I just emailed to Ben Hogan.
My name is Phil and I live in Littleton Colorado. I just wanted to write and tell you how unbelievably happy I am with my new Ben Hogan Apex CFTh irons. I have been playing with a set of Ben Hogan director (blades) which have been around two years longer than I have been alive and I have never been able to play these irons well at all. As everyone has said, those clubs were too advanced for me. I was to the point that I had given up on using any iron larger than an eight. Well finally, after about 8 years I broke down and bought these new CFT's yesterday in preparation of our company tournament (at Arrowhead golf club- great course by the way) which took place this morning. I cannot convey to you the improvement. And get this; I didn't play at all last year and only twice the year before! I put the ball on the green on 3 out of 4 of the par 3's and twice from 180 yards or more using the hybrid woods. The large irons are just as easy to hit as the nine iron. Believe me, this is a very, very impressive improvement for me. I am a very mediocre golfer at best. And what's more, the hybrid woods hit long and straight and I am a slicer if there ever was one. Well if you can't tell I am stoked. To bad it is mid October and the snow is getting ready to fly around here. I got the fever- BIG TIME. Now all I have to do is save up for the Ben Hogan driver that I have my eye on. You will see me on the tour in about a month at this rate.
Thanks for a great product. (I could go on for hours but I think you get it).
Sincerely your happy customer
Phil R.

Ben Hogan Edge Cft - Always Liked Look Of Hogans B
Ben Hogan Edge CFT - Always liked look of Hogans being left handed took a while to find a set. They were very forgiving but I found they were two clubs shorter distance-wise. Perhaps the shaft didn't suit. Overall nice clubs but not for me Changed to TM RAC much better although more expensive.

I Bought A Ben Hogan Edge Cft Set Second Hand For
I bought a Ben Hogan Edge CFT set second hand for £225, which were still in great condition. They have a forged titanium face which is supposed to increase forgivness, which it does. These clubs have to be one of the most forgiving irons ever made. Don't expect the titanium face to increase your distance though. Although the distance is good, these clubs are aimed at forgivness and ease of use. Remeber titanium is a metal which scuffs and dents easily (which is why drivers have headcovers), so you may get little stone chips appear in them over time (only if you constantly find your ball in bunkers or take very deep divots). The Ben Hogan grips are excellent.
I recommend you take a look at www.golfbidder.co.uk to see their selection of second hand and new Hogans.
