Very Disappointing

Like the review from Reisma77 I also chose to spend quite a bit of money buying a new set of Berndes pans for my new kitchen. They are heavy duty but I am very disappointed with the frying pan. Despite taking care & looking after it, rubbing oil into it after each use, using silicone or plastic utensils, it has gone the same way as any other cheaper frying pan. I can no longer use it as everything sticks and the pan is a mess inside by the time I have cooked breakfast for instance. I have tried to persevere with it but it's no good and have given up & bought a new one. It's still in my cupboard as it seems wrong to dump it but not left with much alternative.

Lifetime Cookware It's Not

I was looking for a quality "lifetime" cookware set and spent some extra $$$ so I wasn't disposing of cookware every two years. I have had the berndes set just over two years. The cookware is heavy duty and did the job for those two years, then we started noticing eggs would stick every time even thought it was fried in bacon oil in my frying pan. It got to the point that I contacted berndes about the pan. I sent it in to Berndes. Their reply was damage due to high heat. I babied this set - used only plastic utensils - and never cooked anything over "6" out of "10" on my stove, which is less than medium high. They asked if we wanted the pan back and 20% off a new pan. I don't need a paperweight and I regret my purchase. Went back to a cheap frying pan.

We Were Given A Berndes Dutch Oven Casserole As A

We were given a Berndes Dutch Oven casserole as a Christmas present, and the first time it was used the glass lid shattered after 20 mins in the oven.

What are you disagreeing with?

If the lid broke whilst being used correctly, then it plainly is NOT of a high standard.

ecrownshaw

I disagree with this review because...Berndes cookware is of a high standard.
