Bought In 1988 Lasted 34 Years, That's The Truth!
After 34 years of use the handles are just coming loose, not bad for 34 years of cooking with every day, so I would recommend. They wash with no effort still, nothing sticks, nothing negative to say about these pans, they are absolutely amazing. I cannot afford to replace mine yet but they are a priority, the next set I'm sure will out live us.

Plastic Handles & Knobs Break
Reviewing the Viners Classic Stainless Steel Pan Set (3 piece and 5 piece) with plastic handles and knobs.
So far, two of the saucepans have become unusable, the top-handle (not allowed to say k-n-o-b on this site!) having broken on the lid of one and the handle having snapped on the other. I'm not at all aggressive with my kitchen equipment and I'm now off to buy elsewhere - which is a pity because, in all other respects, these are great pans.

Terrible Service!
Ordered cutlery and glasses from Viners on the 6th December in time for Christmas (I thought!) Arrived on the 29th December in two separate parcels at different times. I made 5 calls all of which where 8 minutes until answering or more and all said it would be with me shortly. I also sent an email that didn't get a response. The glasses were of really poor quality with imperfections. The cutlery seemed ok but not used it now as Christmas is over and the guests have gone!
Very poor customer service and would not recommend or use again.
Shoddy Customer Service
I contacted Viners customer services 3 weeks ago to report that 2 glasses had arrived broken. I was assured that they would send out replacements and guess what? No sign of them. I tried to chase up via email but have had no response after over a week. Not even an acknowledgement.

Cutlery Streaked, Stained & Markied When Removed F
Cutlery streaked, stained & markied when removed from dishwasher. Viners don't want to know & "get out of it" by saying that all cutlery shoulkd be rinsed b4 putting into dishwasher & removed as soon as dishwasher has finished. In this day & age that so called "advice" is simply unacceptable. Who the hell mounts guard over a dishwasher & empties it as soon as its finished. We put ours on in the evening when we go to bed or 1st thing in the morning b4 we go to work

I Had 2 Sets Of Viners Cutlery, One Cheap Set - &p
I had 2 sets of Viners cutlery, one cheap set - £20 and one as a wedding present - about £100. Both said they were dishwasher proof and both rusted! The expensive set quicker than the cheap set even though it was hardly ever used. I contacted Viners who eventually replaced both sets and once again both sets have rusted, after hardly any use. This time I chose a different expensive set and they rusted the second time that I put them in the dishwasher. Viners state that their cutlery is dishwasher safe which is why i thought it ok to put them in there... but obviously not. Therefore I am now looking for a new cutlery set to replace the special occasion set but I will never buy Viners again. I had a set from Ikea whick I bought about 10 years ago and they are fine, even though they are used daily and cost about £5.

A Couple Of Years Ago, Our Inlaws Bought Us A Love
A couple of years ago, our inlaws bought us a lovely canteen of cutlery from Viners. They are silver with a classic but simple design.
They are only used on special ocassions, but they always wash well, do not leave that horrible tinny taste in your mouth, and make any dinner table look elegant.
Great to have for the homeware collection.
