This Company Has Agents Working In Their Office Ca

This company has agents working in their office calling people and selling them tickets using other company names!!!! they collect money in to Southall travels bank account if they cant take payment over the phone using apps like paysend, and when questioned when they are found out that why are they using your bank to hide funds they have no answer! the Metropolitan police force are also aware of this! so if you have been shammed by people taking money for tickets and not receiving tickets 100% it will be southall travel! they make fake advertisements on facebook constantly and use several company names and addresses

Do Not Use Southall Travels

DO NOT USE. They refuse to refund the money for a cancelled flight inspite of airlines saying they have refunded more than a month ago. We have also found out that they lie in their website about being register with ABTA for dispute resolution. This agency SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE!!! AVOID at all cost! No point in contacting the customer service either!

No Refund

My Aunties flight got cancelled in June due to Covid 19 and the company said she would be refunded 2 weeks after it got cancelled, but still no refund and we are in September now, found out British Airways never even put in for the refund and trying to get in contact with Southall Travel id absolutely ridiculous, now its phone call after phone call to try and get my Aunties money back, absolute pee take

Going Down Hill.

Used to be very good. Now they have unprofessional staff who say different things and seem to be interested in taking your money. One staff said we could not claim compensation from our credit card company as her wife works for one and knows how they operate. He even mentioned the bank she works for. Another said southall travel offer no refunds which is not true as it is clearly mentioned in the terms and conditions. Another said the rules for changing flights are complicated and I would not understand if he explained it to me.

Poor Service And Not Reliable

Rubbish travel agent

I booked tickets to travel to India via jet airways which failed while i was in India

I contacted them and travel agent instead of helping started selling me tickets - return for £1700 pounds per person - Some of my friends bought it.

I purchased new tickets to fly back and now I am claiming money via credit card chargeback scheme and they are preventing them

They are not ATOL protected and they sell tickets for airlines that is not ATOL protected too. so providing wrong information to customers

Customer service remains poor and they do not have complaint procedure/policy or department.

I have serious concerned about this travel agent. I am in the process of reporting them.

Do Not Trust Them!!

They are liar, cheaters. Promise you a quote, then take all information of the other quotes you have and then reject the offer they had originally made.

NEVER GIVE ANY INFO to them!!!

Despite their quote, I managed to get a much cheaper quote than them.

Southall Travel is way more expensive than other travel agents. The agents are rude and untrustworthy!!!

Don't Book Anything With These Or Sister Companies

Southall travel are only interested in making as much money as possible.I would never book with them or any companies associated with them like Away Holidays.Their website is to get you on the phone so they can fleece you for as much as they can.The holidays advertised are never available.Here is my experience with them draw you own conclusion.I have passed on my complaint to ABTA.I booked a holiday with Southall Travel to Phuket Thailand . Staying at 4* The Mangrove Panwa Phuket resort B&B. Flying with EVA Air. I was then sent a link to pay for this holiday and payed £2394 via credit card. I received a phonecall from Southall travel saying that it was not available. I have never paid for something then told it wasn’t available.

Bear in mind it is now about 11.30pm and I am flying the next day.

Southall Travel then said they would find me something the next day and not to worry.

I had already made full payment so could not use this money to book another holiday as it would take at least 3 days for the money to come back to me.

So I trusted Southall travel to sort something out the next day.

I agreed to stay at 3-star hotel (ORCHID HOTEL & SPA Kalim Bay Phuket) and 4-starHotel(Rawia Grand Hotel)

I landed in Phuket and got a taxi to the first hotel.

I could not believe what I was seeing.

The place was filthy and no way a 3-star Hotel and Spa.

I nearly walked into the Swimming pool(Pond)

It was absolutely disgusting, smelly and filthy.

There was a dog in the Dining area on the tables.

I called Southall Travel and said I could not spend a night there. They said they would refund hotel costs on my return to UK.

I was told it was 3 star no way. Not even a 1 star

So I booked myself a 4-star hotel for the 3 nights. I then paid for a taxi to take me there.

So after the 3 nights in a nice proper 4-star hotel which I had to pay for.

I got a taxi to the second 4 star hotel (Rawia Grand Hotel)

Well, grand it definitely wasn''t.

The first room was flooded out by Security/Plumber.

So we moved to another room

The bed was rock hard.

And again not a 4-star hotel..

It was situated next to a recycling plant.

And was an apartment

I asked reception if I could have a softer bed mattress. I was told they didn’t have any.

I then asked if they had a mattress topper and again was told they didn’t have one.

I said I cannot sleep on a bed this hard.

I called Southall travel again using skype but Hotel Wifi was rubbish so ended up using my UK mobile phone.

Altogether I spent £50 on calls to Southall Travel.

I had to spend the night in that hotel and it was awful.

The worst most uncomfortable sleep I have ever had.

My legs were sore as It was like sleeping on concrete.

I agreed with Southall Travel to spend the night there.

And that again they would refund me.

If I could arrange my own hotel for the rest of my holiday.

I then managed to Book another 4-star hotel from last minute.com at cost to myself

Then got another Taxi to a new 4-star hotel.

The accommodation Southall travel booked has been a nightmare.

On my return to the UK I emailed them as requested by Southall travel.

I have sent numerous emails and have exhausted all avenues.

I was happy to be refunded accommodation costs

But now after the stories I am seeking compensation as well

They denied all knowledge of offering refund absolutely unprofessional and disgusting.

They use false names.

Why would I book something else if I wasn’t told it would be refunded.

This Is The Worst Travel Agent That I Have Used. A

This is the worst travel agent that I have used. Arrogance, (bad) accent and (worst) attribute describes it all! They just sells tickets (at a higher margin) and knows nothing about customer service. Most of the agents use pseudonyms to pretend that they are a UK company but make no mistake, these are uneducated fools who are mostly from Delhi or Mumbai.

Beyond the ticket sales you are pretty much on their own. Once you have paid them money they have no sense of customer service or ethics. Repeated emails to their customer services result in this single line using which they obsolve from their responsibilities - “we have observed that as per your telecom with our representative on your concern has been addressed and resolved from his end”. In all possibly, they would never attempt to reach you and resolve your issue. Blatant liars who should be avoided at all costs. Try buying tickets and accommodation online and you will find online prices much cheaper. Oh, they will NEVER give you a refund!

Dont buy tickets from them buy online.i had selected dates with online price but agent dragged me to different dates by misleading and saying even if u get the tickets online they will phone u tomorrow to refund ur tickets because there is no tickets on these dates,as he said he can see direct from airlines system he forced me to buy different date tickets so he can ripp extra £100 which I later realised checking online.they broke my trust the company back up there agents
