Worst Chinese Ever Had, Total Rip Off.

Made a large order (£90) and expected to be well fed. I had to call to ask if they had made a mistake because of the portion sizes being so small. All the dishes were bland with no kick and portions were terribly small. We struggled to feed the whole family with what was delivered and would recommend never to use again. The satay chicken looked inedible and tasted even worse, and the size of the seaweed starter was something to behold. 0 out of 10.

Lousy!

This place should be re-named 'Bad Memories!' Without a doubt the worst Chinese I've ever had. I give 2 stars purely based on the helpful staff attitude when I random to place my order for the first and last time. I've recently moved to the area and thought I'd give the place a try, the portion sizes are tiny and yet priced the same as any other takeaway, the chicken was processed and the pork balls were minced pork (we think). No filling in the veg spring rolls, just a mouthful of oil and stodgy pastry. Barely any chicken in the chow main. REALLY DISAPPOINTED.

Pretty Awful!

Ordered a takeaway for myself and family- what a let down! I arrived to collect it to be told 5 minutes. After 5 minutes I was told 2 more minutes. Then another 2. Then 2 more. Eventually the food came and i went on my merry way looking forward to my yummy food. On getting home it turned out most of the starters were missing. The food we did have was greasy and bland. My favourite of kung po chicken had no kick like it normally does. Mum's duck didn't taste like duck and all the other dishes lacked flavour and freshness. Let's hope these memories don't last for long!

We Decided To Pick Up A Takeaway On Our Way Home A

We decided to pick up a takeaway on our way home as it was my birthday, we are new to the area and hadn't tried Memories so thought we would give it a go.

We ordered chicken chow mein (which came in a small container but was charged like a regular chinese restaurant at £3.40 - so we presumed it would be a large container) which was basically just noodles with a bit of onion and a few tiny bits of chicken in it, nice noodles but very stingy with the chicken which you had to hunt for. We also ordered mushroom and egg fried rice, it only had around 4 mushrooms in it but was very nice, the ribs we ordered were good, they came in a large container but you only got 4 ribs (from our experience for that price, you normally should get 6) they were tasty and tender but not enough. The last dish, don't ever bother ordering, was for chicken balls with curry sauce instead of sweet and sour. The pot for the sauce was tiny, and only half full at that. The sauce had no taste to it, really dissapointing. The chicken balls had been cooked at least 2 or 3 times, all that was left were small pieces of chicken in a battered shell, tiny little things and you only got 8 of them. Basically, if the portions had been a usual size this review would have been much better, but due to the quality of the order and the overpricing on what you actually got, we will never order from them or go in there again.
