The Dinner Was Simply Delicious
The dinner was simply delicious, fresh, tasty, and tastefully presented. The ambiance was warm and friendly, making for an excellent dining experience. Furthermore, the service was exceptional, attentive, polite, and professional. From beginning to end, everything exceeded expectations. I definitely suggest this restaurant to anybody searching for a delicious lunch with excellent ambiance and service!

Christmas Dinner- Extreme Disappointment
After pre-ordering and paying around £60 per person (x10) in advance we were extremely disappointed in what we actually received which was a small cold Christmas dinner where all of the vegetables were all uncooked, we obviously complained as these vegetables were inedible and the manager expressed his concern saying "We have no excuse whatsoever and this should never of happened" we were not told how this could have occurred and we were left to draw our own conclusions. However, we assumed this may have been due to possible staff shortages due to sickness where temporary or untrained staff were used and the allotted food for that sitting had run out and we were given food that was being prepared for the second sittings because the meals that came out before ours looked huge and cooked in comparison!
This was not rectified at the time but the manager has offered us all a replacement evening on him during one of their venue entertainment nights which we are waiting for the forthcoming summary to be emailed.
I will then offer a follow up review to this.

Great food,with good size portions, wonderful atmosphere and helpful, friendly staff. Would recommend the T Bone steak, amd the soup of the day!
Sunday Roast - More Like Sunday Deep Fried
I want to start by saying I love the Highland's Al La Carte Menu. The Sunday "Roast" is another thing altogether. Their Roast potatoes are deep fried. There mini sausages are deep fried. Their vegetables sit in hot water with no seasoning or taste and their stuffing is paxo with hot water added. Lastly the gravy is very obviously made from powder and hot water. Very disappointing for such a fine restaurant. When my wife asked politely if she could try a small sample of the meat to see which she preferred she was rudely told "ONE VISIT ONLY!" (If she had already tried the meat she would have known that one visit was more than enough.)
