We as a family have eaten at seabrights so many times, and have held many specials meals there to celebrate birthdays, engagements, anniversarys. Etc. I am hoping that though it has now changed hands nothing will change. It is a great place to eat...the staff are great with John heading the team.we came down to eat the other night and was told it had just changed hands,:( but wish the new owner lots of best wishes.....but please keep the carvery and keep our seabrights as we know and love it......chrissy

This is such a forgotten old barn, it's over 700 years old, and is full of history. The owners are trying to revamp the website and barn itself and create a great place to hold an event....a wedding, christening or party of any kind, the garden is large enough for a marquee and the staff are helpful. We have a meeting there once a month and are always looked after very well.

I am a sigle dad and i went to Seabright's Barn Millers Kitchen, i found the place to be really friendly, there must be a new chef because the food was great, a good selection and very hot, it was a sunday and very busy but the chef was very fast and friendly.

Food is awful, cold, roast potatoes were like leather; the knife would not cut through them! Very grumpy chef, I felt like an annoyance rather than a customer! We had return wine three times due to dirty glasses and a mouldy smell! I voiced my concerns to the manager but he continued to do some paperwork while I was talking. He said I had to expect food to be cooler as it was carvery! He said he was very busy even though the restaurant was practically empty! There was food stuck to my teaspoon when we had coffee.... awful evening!

What I have written is based on my experience there last night. It was awful, definite case for Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares!

Seabright's Barn Millers Kitchen is wonderful, a real gem and the fact you can off load the kids in the play area is good but the food is terrible. I think everything is either deep fried (in old stale oil) or nuked in the microwave. Avoid at all costs if you are hungry. OK for a drink though.
