I Have Been Searching From Brand To Brand To Find
I have been searching from brand to brand to find a set of clubs that not only look great, but perform on the course just as well. Although these are classified by purists as "game improvement" clubs, as a 10 handicap I was able to hit just about any shot. I have been using variations of Titleist clubs, but hit one of these at a local pro shop and was sold immediately. The long irons are reasonably easy to hit. the mid to short irons are dead money as long as you put the right swing on it. The clubs are cast, but still give good feedback on your shots. Also, they have almost been immune to any bag chatter thus far. They are tough hombres. Give the Ping I3+'s a chance... you just might get hooked!

I Struggled With My Iron Game For Many Years. I Wa
I struggled with my iron game for many years. I was using a set of Nicklaus EZ-Ups, and couldn't get the right pop out of my irons. I went to Golfsmith and went through all of their new irons from Taylormade, Cobra, Titleist, Cleveland, Callaway, Mizuno, and Ping. I really don't like the new low forged style that every golf maker is trying to push, and my Nickalus irons were low forged and I couldn't hit them at all.
I started to try the Ping i15, I have always heard good things about the Ping brand, and I like the thin styling of the irons. It was reminiscent of the irons I had while I was growing up. After realizing that I wasn't going to spend $800-$1100 on an iron set I decided to look in the used club selection they have at Golfsmith. My budget was around $200-$400 so I was looking for Ping i-series irons in that price range.
I really liked the Ping i3s. They visually looked powerful like I could cut through any rough and not twist, turn, or slow down. They also added about +10 yards compared to my previous irons. Then I tried the Ping i3+ Blade irons, they were even better than the i3s. They added another +5 yards to my distance, and they traveled even straighter than the i3s. At Golfsmith, the Ping i3+ blades were out of my price range though at $450, so as soon as I got home I jumped on eBay and found them for $230.
I have played these irons for about a month now and absolutely love them. My scores went from 51s to 43-45. These irons have given me much more confidence in my ability, and some much added distance. Yesterday, I hit a 9 iron 140 yards straight at the pin. Try all of the iron manufactures first, then try ping irons and you will feel the difference.
I even made a believer out of my dad who ditched his new Callaway X-20s, and bought some old school Ping Eye2s. He dropped 2 strokes his first time out.
Don't waste your time on other irons that are gimmicky. Ping is proven performance.
I played the ping i3 o.s. for years and was happy with them until I took up the Cleveland ta6.. I found the latter to be my favourite and have being playing them for about 8 - 10 years. I hav e been looking to replace them but I'm unable to get them.. I feel that my only solution is to go back to the ping i3 o.s.- not the ping i3+. Have you an observation on the i3 o.s. Versus the i3+ ? If so I would likemtohear you. John K.

I Would Definitely Recommend Hitting These Irons S
I would definitely recommend hitting these irons several times prior to purchasing. I really like the Ping I3's. When I hit them perfectly they are the best shots. They do have a very small sweet spot and I tend to get a lot of vibration when shots aren't hit perfectly.

The best set of clubs I've ever bought. Amazing price! I'm starting to hit the ball much cleaner and I'm starting to hit the ball much further and straighter too, I'm hitting my 4 iron more than 25 yards further than my old clubs.

I Purchased My Ping I3+ Irons About 16 Months Ago.
I purchased my Ping I3+ irons about 16 months ago. I must say that they are brilliant.
Since having these I have cut my hanicap from 24 to 15 and reckon I am due another cut very soon.
Just knowing that I can have them adjusted to suit my swing at any time gave me a real confidence boost.

On The Whole I Would Recommend The Ping I3+ Blade
On the whole I would recommend the Ping i3+ Blade club to someone whose handicap is at least an 8. This club in particular forces the player to make exceptional contact with the ball in order for it to take the desired path through the air. This however also allows the player to "shape" their shots much more easily. In conclusion if your a relatively good golfer and would like to add a bite of precision to your game this club is for you. Now on the other hand if you a beginner and don't feel really comfortable with your irons do not get this club.

I Bought My Ping 13's After Hitting Them When The
I bought my Ping 13's after hitting them when the Ping rep came to my golf course. He was so confident that he asked the golf pro to bring out all of the other brands (Callaway, Titliest, Hogan and Taylor Made) that I was considering and let me hit them all side by side. The I3 won hands down. My previous sets were Ping I2 and Armour Silver Scotts. So far I've dropped about 6 strokes off my game. My brother-in-law has already replaced his Cobra's with a set of these and loves them too. I would definitely recommend these to others.
thank you I'm looking for a new set and haven't bought clubs in 13 years! I have old Ping I the red dot!! And I want a new set and I was leaning towards Callaways!!
