New Owners
The picture house has new owners again . I started going back to the picture house after the last owners had taken over it was a family mother and daughter and can say never had a complaint . New owners have now taken over went there Saturday and waited nearly an hour for food that wasn't worth the wait . Think we will be looking else where .

this café is under new ownership the staff are friendly we had a drink and cake coffee was great tasting and the carrot cake fresh and yummy will be going there again

I have lived in Newport for 45 years and the place was absolutely terrible before. My friends and family all stopped going there because the place looked like it hadn't been cleaned for years and the presentation of the food was nothing less than awful. The staff were slow and the owner did nothing but smoke inside and outside the cafe. We decided to try it again after we heard about the new ownership and we couldn't believe the turn round. The place has a clean fresh look, staff are friendly and the food was served timely, well presented and to be honest, really nice.
We now go there twice a week, well done Picture House Cafe, keep it up!!
Have been going there for several years. No problem with food or previous owners. Been there a few times since apparent change of ownership. Now some hygiene and customer attitude issues. Will be going elsewhere in future.

A Rude Family Owed Cafe
My order was wrong, when I said about it i was told by the waitress I was rude, I asked to speak to the manager (the waitress' dad) he took the same tone with me as his daughter. They put me off my food, I asked for a refund, got more rudeness from the waitress, and left very upset. Would not recommend it.
