A Pleasant Cafe Situated In A Bowling Green With O
A pleasant Cafe situated in a bowling green with outdoor tables. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is good quality, a little more expensive than average but worth it. However, what I will say has ruined a few visits now and finally put me off, is noisy children. Being child friendly, many diners allow their children to run riot around the green and bang the drum tables. This isn't discouraged by the staff and it can get quite grating after a while. Yes, lovely place but I now won't been visiting again. I prefer to save my eardrums from the shrieking, yelling and drumming!
poor old buggers pathetic

Alexandra Bowling Green Cafe Is A Veritable Garden
Alexandra Bowling Green Cafe is a veritable garden of Eden, with French windows opening to a shaded veranda, framed with the green shady leaves of wisteria, and only a minute from the hustle and bustle of Southend's high-street, this quaint cafe, is full of colonial charm, friendly, knowledgeable staff, excellent fair, slightly quirky in its d cor, with kettle drum tables, baby grand piano, whether its Earl Grey tea on the lawn, or a club sandwich with a chocolate torte for lunch, this Cafe has the food, the tranquility, and will make you want to return again and again, the only sadness for me is telling the World, this little green heaven is there.
