Champagne, Westcliff-on-Sea

Have eaten at this restuarant twice and on both occassions the food has been fresh and tasty and the staff friendly and efficient. I also have used the home delivery on several occasions and the same standard applies. Would definitely recommend anyone to give it a try

I eat out and this restaurant quite frequently and always look forward to my next visit. Its probably not a good thing to admit, but the lovely staff all know my name and even recognise my voice when I phone. lol. The restaurant decor is a little worn but thats to be expected as its always busy and gets a lot of wear and tear. Please dont let this put you off cos the food really is TRUELY AMAZING. You order what ever you want from the menu and it always arrives perfectly cooked and so fresh and hot. The salt and pepper king prawns are to die for. Yes there is a 10% service charge but you do actually get fantastic service so why would you have a problem with this being added to your bill? I play in 2 darts teams both of which arrange evenings out to Champagne. Many other members of my family and friends also use the restaurant on a regular basis. If you order a take away I would recommend you try and collect it rather than have it delivered because they get so busy it can take a while to be delivered. I would definately highly recommend this restaurant.

Eaten at Champagne many times and having tried many chinese restaurants in Southend and my home town of Birmingham I can say the food is the freshest I have ever tasete and worth every penny. The exterior may put people off but the quality and freshness is the best.

we went last night three girls - outside it said £13.95 a meal when you got in on the menu it stated 10% services charge added.It also stated any dishes were unfinished they would charge for it.

We ordered the special platter and the duck platter for started. We left a small amount of duck and a couple of the spare ribs and then we we ordered a meat dish and a rice/noodle dish each and again left a small amount - probably a small spoonful on each.

we were then told that on this occasion they would let us off but if we did it next time they would charge us the full rate for each dish which had some left on the plate.

obviously we will not be returning to this restaurant.

Excellent! Our friends took us to Champagne and we loved it.

All you can eat but ordered fresh from the menu and brought over to your table. It was £12 per head which was a very good price, drinks were a little more than average.

The staff were very friendly (they took a particular interest in my friend's baby!) and explained which foods were suitable for a specific dietary need.

Fantastic - going back very soon!

The Restaurant is bright, clean, well decorated, with friendly and good service.

The quality of the food is superb.

The Champagne restaurant in Westcliff-on-Sea is a lovely place to go, as a couple, with the family or as a big party.

The restaurant is nice and quiet so my boyfriend and I go there quite often due to the great value and quality of the food, along with enough privacy to be able to have a romantic dinner. Going with a group of friends is great due to the fun nature of all staff. There is a large menu to choose from and there is no limit to how much to order due to it being all you can eat for a fixed price. An overall great evening out with a partner, friends or family.

Champagne - This is an all you can eat resturant, but not a buffet. You select dishes from a menu to be brought to the table. We were quite greedy, but had been travelling all day. All the food was delicious and as good as some more expensive Chineses you may find in London or Newcastle.
