Very Disappointed
Have not used this restaurant for many years and due to current excellent reviews decided to try again. However we left extremely disappointed. Food was awful, tasteless and not very hot. Restaurant was cold and decor was dated. Felt that it was very expensive for what we had. Two of the Waiters stood around watching us, which was very off putting. Table trays looked very shabby with paint peeling off, a very well used state. Will definitely not be going back again and will not be recommending to friends and family.

Expensive And Disappointed
Usual restaurant we use fully booked so tried the Hasina instead. Entered to great service, prompt drinks and poppadoms then it all went down hill !!
My wifes starter was tasteless and cold, mine was OK however 3 comments to the waiting staff were met with sorry comments and no offer to change her meal. We then waited ages for our main course, this time my wifes was OK but having asked for a mild dish mine was laden with chillies and too hot !! Again same response from the waiters and all they wanted to do was sell us more drinks. Ordered deserts which are straight from the freezer and not freshly prepared and gave up on the coffee and Irish coffee we had ordered after waiting 30 minutes for it to arrive. The final insult was na £82.00 bill which I queeried as was told that was what we had ordered. No tip was left and will definately not be going there again.

Hasina, Great Service, Great Food!
I have tried a few Indian restaurants over the years, new and well established and this still comes back as my favorite. The fact that it has been going for many years is testament to their good service and quality fresh tasting food. Over the years I have seen a few faces come and go here, and have even got to know some of them a little but no matter who is there they always seem to go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
The food is always very good, good variety of dishes and freshly prepared as far as I can tell. All the tandoori chicken is prepared with tender breast chicken and the shashlik is superb and my wife’s favorite!
Wine list is excellent as well as the usual drinks and beers (Cobra/King Cobra) you would expect. Desert is pretty much what you would expect to find in an Indian restaurant but not what we go for!
The surroundings are spacious and the booths which seat four allow for a little privacy and intimacy. The decor maybe a little dated but that doesn’t bother me. Recently they have revamped the ladies and gents toilet facilities.
My teenage boys also love going to the Hasina and they cater well for children especailly those that try something from the menu rather than sausage & chips!
I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone!
