Refund For Cancellation

I booked airport parking with this company some time ago. Two months ago I cancelled the booking. They replied saying they were busy but would refund my booking fee. Next they closed their business premises and have refused all contact since. Now they have sent a no reply email informing me they have decided to keep my money and will give me a token for future use. This is against the law and against their own terms and conditions.

Not If You Value Your Car

the following is a copy of the letter I sent to aph 3 weeks ago by 4 different methods without reply.

when I collected my car BB54 TLS yesterday I found that anything inside it that could have been messed with, was messed with.

all the seat settings including the front passenger's were altered along with the mirrors, radio stations, heater settings, door locking system and worst of all the lighting settings. is all this necessary just to move the car a few yards???????

I have only had this car a couple of weeks and still getting used to it but as with previous cars i always have my lights set to auto and when I left aph park in the daylight I didnt notice that this wasn't the case. later on as it got darker and darker, the motorway traffic was heavy and the dashboard lights were on so I didn't notice that the outside lights werent. so when other drivers started flashing me more and more frantically I thought that there must be something wrong at the back of the car structurally so I slowed down and limped along to the next services whereupon leaving the main carriageway it became instantly apparent that the auto setting on the light stalk had been interfered with and I was driving with no lights.

if this is just a sport among your drivers they need to be told ITS NOT FUNNY.

I will wait 7 days to see what action you intend to take on this before I send the copy to your head office

Robbed By Aph Meet And Greet

Booked the so called Meet and Greet at Manchester for the 6th August 2014, phoned them up 15 minutes before like they request. 30 minutes later they still had not arrived.

By this time we were worried that we would miss the plane, so we decided to park in the Airports long stay car park, which would cost us an extra £188 after already paying this joke of a company £73.

Please if you value your holidays DO NOT use this company or else they will take your money like they did with me. This company just takes your money and runs.

DO NOT USE APH, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN.

Beaware Of Cancellation Policy!!!

We booked AHP parking T1&T3 long stay carpark at Manchester airport starting monday 7th July. 48 hour's prior to the start of the parking period booked we needed to cancel. Reading the terms & conditions its states, cancellations can be made upto 24hours before parking period starts & you will receive a full refund. We booked through a 3rd party, emailing 38 hours before hand (saturday afternoon). We received an email from the third party on the Sunday morning, informing us we would not reveive a refund as AHP said the cancellation period was 48 hours prior to booking!. Erm so they make it up as the go along to avoid refunds! Disgraceful service & we're now £55 down.

Damaged Our Car And Then Effectively Accused Us Of Lying!

We left our car at APH manchester carpark .When we arrived and gave our keys in no one checked the condition of our car or mileage. We were ushered to the bus to airport at once .Staff on bus very good. When we returned from holiday our cars 4 tyres had been painted/sprayed with Tyre black without our consent something which we would never do.The tyre black was still wet and both us and the manager got the black on our hands whilst touching tyres. This black was also on the alloy wheels as well. It was still wet in streaks. Both the front alloy wheels were scuffed and they were in perfect when we left the car ,no scruffs or marks. A report was taken by manager and when they later sent us a decision letter and photos of CCTV of us arriving in the dark at the beginning of the trip they said, THEY could clearly see that the black on tyres was already there and that they have no kerbs in their premises that could damage the alloy wheels. They are effectively accusing us of lying about our cars condition when we put it in their care. Both my husband and I are disabled and pensioners and definetly honest people. The CCTV sent to us shows no proof of anything because of shadowing on the photograph and the cars lights being on as we drove into their premises. We know that our car was not in that condition when we put it in their care but we can not prove it. I have seen many stories on their facebook page of damage to cars ,some costing the customers 1000's of pounds but no compensation from APH. What they do is try to silence anyone who makes a complaint on social media or any other websites about them, or pretend to be helping unsatisfied customers ,when in fact they are going out of their way to cover up the damaging of customers cars so that they do not pay compensation or repair. It is very hard to prove that your car has been damaged in their care even if you have your own photographs beforehand.Maybe one of their staff used our car for personal use we wouldn't know ? But someone from there damaged our car during its stay and APH deny all responsibilty.Use this carpark at your peril! There are people with far more damage than ours, some complaining that damage nearly caused a fatal accident on the motorway going home.Obviously there are good reviews about them too ,but if your car is damaged by them you will never get compensation so beware.

Beware Pricing Policy

Have used APH Manchester Airport for about 10 years now and always had good service. Always booked early because of their 'promise' that the earlier you book the cheaper it is. Oh no it's not! Booked 4 months in advance hanging on their promise of book early for cheapest prices. Thought it a bit expensive at £47 but took them at their word. Several weeks later the price had gone down to £37. Rang up and was told the only thing I could do was to cancel and rebook - that meant losing the credit card charge. But did so. Then, 10 days before travelling found the charge was down to £27. The only way to do anything was to cancel and rebook, another credit charge lost.

I wonder how many times this has happened in the past ten years, and to how many people. How many times have I overpaid by believing their promise of cheaper charges the earlier you book. Will not be using them again.

Completely Fobbed Off.

The true measure of a company is how they treat their customers when things go wrong. Things go wrong from time to time, we are all human and mistakes are made. However the experience I've had from A.P.H Parking has exasperated, annoyed and frustrated me and could possibly have resulted in my death tonight. I returned from my flight to pick up my car to find the hazard lights flashing, despite the engine being off. I then discovered a letter on the passenger seat saying my cars battery had gone flat, but they had saved the day by recharging it with a "power surge protected power pack". After questioning the duty manager I was told in no uncertain terms that it was all my fault because the battery had gone dead and I would have to deal with the problem myself. He then insisted I leave immediately because they needed the space my car was in. I later called the R.A.C because I couldn't turn my hazard lights off. The engineer said my battery was in perfect condition. He had also never heard of a "power surge protected power pack" and in all likelihood they had overloaded my cars electrics by poor use of jump leads. He was unable to fix my problem at the roadside and 200 miles from home I had to continue my journey, hazard lights blazing and visit the dealer in the morning. Things went from bad to worse when my lights suddenly died on an unlit stretch of the M.50 which almost made me career off the road at high speed. I have attempted to phone them to complain but they have become aggressive and hung up on me. Please I beg you, do not trust this company. They should be investigated by the authorities.

Aph Need Clearer Directions

APH's directions read: Keep in the left hand lane and the entrance to "Valet Parking" is signposted ahead of you. At the car park entrance (Valet Parking)....

Now forgive me but looking for signs, at 3:30am, in the dark, I expect signs to show "Valet Parking" ! No !

No reply from the telephone numbers at this time of day!

Apparently signs dont read "Valet Parking" they show - Meet & Greet!! & you head for area 4.

Once this matter was finally clarified, by the kind man in the fuel station, and a mad panic as time was moving on, we could have used our usual method of parking elsewhere & being shipped in by bus.

That aside, now its been used once, and when APH's directions are updated, its a quick easy (as-cheap) parking base.
