Tutti Tuscan Grille, Braintree

Give Tutti Tuscan Grill in Braintree a try - it's better, more original than Frankie and Bennys and makes a change from Prezzo etc. I think there should be more of them. You have got to try the Tuscan burger - it's cooked perfectly!

Tutti has a really great atmosphere, and they serve up steak, so I love it. Normally I go to an Italian and all I get is pizza and pasta. The staff at Tutti Tuscan Grille in Braintree were really friendly, and they took my order really quickly. The food was freshly cooked, and it tasted fantastic. They also made a special dish up for my friend who was vegetarian.

Tutti Tuscan Grille "Italian" is average at best - hardly the place to have a "nice" meal out.

Tutti has, like many other chain restaurants, a very limited menu with food that takes no real effort to prepare as a consequence it has little taste and is uninspiring.

I think some staff training wouldn't go a miss, the service was terrible with 2 order mistakes made during an order for 4 people.

I would recommend other restaurants in the area for a "proper meal" Dominique's and La Piazza make for better eating experiences

What's the food like? Tutti Tuscan Grille menu offers a refreshing change from the pizza and pasta dishes you'll find at most Italian chains. Although still on the menu, they sit alongside a much wider range of dishes, including fresh fish and steak and a number of vegetarian options. I can recommend the seared salmon with Tuscan mash - the potato was mixed with a wonderful selection of herbs and tasted delicious. There's also a great menu for children - ours loved the chicken parmesan and the grilled salmon, they both had a traditional side salad, 'Insalata Bambino' and thought they were being very grown up!

Tutti Tuscan Grille deserves to succeed. There are no shortage of chain competitors around who buy frozen food and sell cheap, however, Tutti seem to be able to match their prices whilst serving prime quality food.

The service is always extra friendly and very efficient.

This is without a doubt our favourite restaurant for most occasions. Wish they had a discount scheme for loyal regulars!!
