Reserve/pay For Airline Seats-only To Find Out You Lose Out

Don't use Travelocity, we used them for an important trip to a wedding in another state - made and paid for reservations (airline, including reserving seats in February for a June travel date), only to get an email the night before we left to check in and when we did, we discovered we had no seats!! So I had to scramble and pay an additional fee just so we could get seats. Try going direct to Airline websites or using Kayak or Orbitz, before you use Travelocity. And, by the way, calling Travelocity "customer service" the night before our June wedding trip to find out why our reserved seats were "gone" was a disaster.

Puchase Guarantee Is A Lie

The tickets I purchased from Travelocity droped in less than 24 hrs so I tried to get the GUARANTEE that they state on their website . After being on hold for 1.5 hours I finally got a woman with broken english that directed me back to the website to fill out a refund application . The application blocks you from filling out some of the boxes which intern will not let you finish the process. Great scheme they have going on . I think I will look else where & look for another company to work with in the future. Expedia & Travelocity are the same company.

Worst Customer Service Ever.

I use to love travelocity. Not now!!

We booked 4 months in advance for a trip. The airline changed our flight that didn't work for us. We called the number that was provided for us to call. We were on hold for over an hour. The customer service rep who was hard to understand said we would be able to change the reservations to a flight closer to what we originally chose. The rep said it was going to happen but a supervisor would call us back and confirm the reservation. The call never came.

We called back 4 times with a long hold time only to be told the same scenario that a supervisor will call back. Never Happened! After a really long wait we were talked to a 'supervisor' only to be told they would not change our reservations and if we wanted it changed it would cost over $200. None of this was acceptable. They never should have told us you can make the changes without charges and then tell us $200.

i believe they give you the run around so eventually you will get frustrated and just say forget it!

I'm trying to find every corporate email and every source of social media to get the word out that no one else should have to deal with them.

I had a bad experience with hotel.com customer service. A few months later I got t job where I traveled 3 weeks out of the month (a different hotel every night). I never used hotel.com and they lost a lot of hotel bookings from me.

Travelocity You lost a lot of future business from our travels. So disappointed in your customer service.

Totally Useless, Avoid At All Costs

I booked a flight, wen I got conformation the times of the flights were different to the ones I booked, I contacted them ,they told me I made a mistake, the flights the actually gave me, did not show up at all in there search options, so how could I have booked them?, the end result was they were happy to change them..... for £220, a £208 flight!!!!!!!! total rip off, use them if you are either totaly stupid, or very rich and like wasting money!!!!

Terrible Service Over Priced Wont Help Customer Dont Matter

MY GIRLFRIEND AND I BOOK A CRUISE ON ROYAL CARRIBBEAN VIA TRAVELOSITY BEFORE WE WERE TO SAIL THE SAME CRIUSE WAS ALMOST 500.00 CHEEPER THAN WHAT WE PAID. CALLED RC TO TRY TO GET SOME KIND OF ON BOARD CREDIT OR UPGRADE THE SAID TRAVELOSITY WOULD HAVE TO CALL AND THEY WOULD BE HAPPY TO GIVE US SOME KIND OF CREDIT CALLED TRAVELOSITY THEY PUT US ON HOLD AND SAID THEY CALLED R/C AND WERE TOLD THAT THERE IS NOTHING THE CAN DO FOR US

TRAVELOSITY ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS AND I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN

They Will Make U Call And Call And Call

Talked with costumer service for refund, they did a mistake and they won't take responsible.

After 5 phone calls ( one was for an hour ) three supervisors, I got credit not refund.

They are way better sites. They sound professional but they are not at all.

Terrible Experience!!! Worst Customer Service Ever!!!!!

Worst experience of my life!!!! I booked a trip through travelocity for a vacation to Montego Bay jamaica for August 2nd through August 9th. I read reviews on the website that stated the hotel had roaches, granted that was in 2013 but I still did not want to stay there and called to change just the hotel portion of our trip and it would have been about a 1200 dollar difference so they would have been getting even more money from us,well I called and of course their customer service is ALL in India and you can't understand half of the customer service reps. I spoke to a rep and he changed my hotel portion from the RIU Montego Bay to the Sandals resort in Montego Bay and after an hour on the phone with him holding and waiting and waiting he ran my card through and charged 1795 four times and then stated it didn't work, you'll have to call back tomorrow and try again. I said you have got to be kidding me after all that!!! So I waited and called the next morning and started all over again and this time after 2 more customer service reps and another 2 hours and two more credit cards which they charged each of them three times 1795 & 1995 they told me it didn't work for them either so they said call back tomorrow. I called my capital one credit card company and they said that was completely unacceptable and they called travelocity with me on the phone and they had to get them to authorize and take the 6 charges off of my cards and another 2 hours and still no resolution and they said they would try again Monday being a week day and that it would be resolved so my capital one rep called me back the next day at 6:00 pm and we called travelocity again and after speaking to 3 more customer service reps and they charged my two cards 3 times a piece again and still could not just simply change a hotel reservation from one hotel to another and we were on the phone from 6:00 pm until 11:40 pm I finally got angry after 5 and a half hours on the phone and said we are done here, do not charge my account anymore money and do not change anything on my reservation, I am not going to hold and wait and go through this horror any longer. You people have now kept me on the phone for 4 days for over 9 hours total and still have not resolved a simple hotel reservation change!!!! They were unresponsive and could have cared less. I think they just kept me on hold all that time trying to get me to give up. They had no intentions of ever helping me. So I am now telling every single person I know my story and posting it everywhere to try and help as many people I can to not have to go through the horror I did with travelocity, their terrible. Worst customer service I've ever experienced!!!! BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!

Bad Experience With Travelocity.com

My boyfriend booked a vacation package in October ,he paid 2.700 dollars for hotel+flight. In two weeks he realize that had a credit in his bank 1,300 dollars. We contact with Travelocity and the agent said that the trip was canceled,without our knolege(they did not e-mail or phone us).We ask the supervisor,she said that they cancel only the hotel reservation,flight is OK. But she offer us a new reservation for the same hotel but for more money.

They Change Prices And Flight Times In The Middle

they change prices and flight times in the middle of trying to book. keep having to go back to start to get new higher price or new flight time.

they do NOT do price guarantee as they say. I booked a flight finally after getting knocked around with price and times and then within 12 hours by the next morning, the prices were all much lower and the initial days and times I wanted were now available. they say they will guarantee the price if within 4 hours drops or is lower on another site. I applied twice and 2 weeks later, still no response. they have no intention of giving price guarantee. I will never use their site again nor will the 3 people I travel with a few times a year.

completely shady how they list prices and times but no longer available when you hit the last page to check out to pay.

No Cancellation Policy, Overcharged, + Wrong Currency

Worst customer service experience to date. Booked through Travelocity partner, WCT Travel. They misquoted me, were not transparent, never mentioned no refund policy, overcharged for room, and used the incorrect currency. Tried multiple times to correct this without resolve. Spoke to 2 managers, Travelocity, Marriott (numerous times) and got the run around. WTC, Travelocity and Marriott have no concept of customer experience, ethics, integrity or business in general. I will never book through these channels every again and will avoid Marriott for future travel. Beware.
