Excellent Service

I have been with tescobroadband and homophone for over 15 months and they have provided excellent service throughout. i experienced one problem with my broadband, however on calling customer service, quick connection to a friendly agent as usual and problem solved in 3 minutes. Its a shame they ceased their service and sold it to talk talk. Now that i have switched providers, tescobroadband were lightning quick to refund me my credit into my bank account.

We have been with Tesco Home phone and Broadband approx 5 years and have had excellent service.During the change over to Talk Talk our call barring dropped out, one call to a very helpful man at Tesco and the problem, after an apology was sorted out.I think that we all have to realize, nothing in this life is 100% perfect and never will be.However, I am happy with Tesco and I hope Talk Talk is as good.

Tesco broadband is the biggest waste of time and wouldn't even recommend it to someone I really dislike... Ha! Constantly slow speeds and disconnections, constant red light on router and phoning up is a waste of time! Very bad customer service and blame you end, by suggesting you've set it up incorrectly or a fault within your house! However theyre probably sick of being moaned at about the terrible connection all day, may have some sympathy for them.

Would not recommend to anyone whom plays games consoles online, such as xbox and playstation constant disconnections, and throughout this week I've had a stable connection for a ground breaking...30 minutes maximum!

Very slow bad customers care, I bought my own router to speed things up,no better always really really slow on Sundays constantly dropping out,at best I get 4 mps they said there is 10 mps coming to my house, Yeh what ever.

I Do Not Recommend

i recommended Tesco broadband to a family member the router was sent and connected but they still have not had internet since, this was months and months ago, save yourself the embarrassment and go elsewhere.

It Looks Like It's Hit And Miss, But Mine's A Hit!

Used Tesco Broadband since August '13. From the word go has worked perfectly. Is it Fibre optic fast? No, but it is a solid 10mb (speed checker tested). I do get the impression the customer service leaves a little to be desired but quite honestly the (provided)router/ISP has been the most reliable I've ever used out of Sky, Virgin and AOL. I was based in Reading area. The reviews look like they might a little hit and miss but frankly show me an ISP that has all glowing reviews.

Horrendous Broadband And Service

I have had persistent issues with broadband from tesco. for thr past 2 years it has always been poor ish, and I sort of got used to it. In the past 2 months it slowly ground to a halt - I had to reset the router every 1.5 hours several times a day just to get ANY internet. when i complained they just gave me a new router. When I said that did not resolve the problem they eventually sent an engineer out who did nothing to help the problem - i actually found it was worse than before.

I have kept complaining in the hope that tesco will do something to sort it out, but NO-ONE took ownership of the issue, I escalated to manager and was told they would call me back, no-one did, so I have no choice but to cancel my contract - I am so frustrated I could scream - in this day and age to have such poor level of brandband is RIDICULOUS - I feel like I am in the 1980's with Tesco. Time to switch to Plusnet who have much better reviews!

Started Off Great... 3 Months Down The Line Is Another Story

Ok so its cheap and you earn Tesco clubcard points, and for the first 2-3 months all went well, it streamed Netflix no problems 3 people online at once and it coped, but the last 3-4 weeks is another story, it constantly disconnects or runs so slow ( especially between 3-9pm) even google will not load, but then about 9pm it goes back to normal.

I guess you get what you pay for and my bills are £19 a month for line rental and internet... however I think id rather pay more and enjoy the service at my leisure than having to wait until 9pm to do things online.

Tesco Broadband, Do Not Go There

I have had Tesco broadband for 1 month,in the evening it's impossible to use , during the day sometimes, I have spoke to the tech support team every day,they just fob me off,so I'll review Tesco broadband on every site there is so I hope other people choose someone else, I have never known this bad of customer support.

New Tesco Broadband Customer

Left BT who charged me £42 p/m for phone,10GB limit broadband and the awful BT sports.

Switch was impeccable - net was out of service for only 1 hour before I had the text and email from Tesco saying it had gone live. Bought a Now TV box, it streams the movies in HD and sports well no issues what so ever. Tidy service and only £15 p/m over 12 month contract.

I cannot comment on download speeds and I only ever stream liveTV.
