Buy Insurance From Somewhere Else!!!!
No fault claim they kept open for 6 months whilst they waited for an invoice that they refused to chase from the repair centre they sent me to. On hold for 13 minutes before the phone was answered, past from pillar to post with colleagues who can't help as it's not their department when I wanted to find out the cost of the claim so that I could renew with a different insurance company for less than half the price and a lot more benefits included. I was hung up on several times and put on hold constantly for long periods of time. Eventually managed to speak to the underwriter who told me the claim was closed over a month earlier as a no fault claim.

Stay Away !!!
I had my insurance with them for 2 years. One day on M6 in a traffic van hit me, it wasn't my fault so make a claim, been told yes all good didn't even pay an excess. A year later found out that Vauxhall car insurance closed the case and blame me without even a letter explain why ...Worst, pathetic please please stay away !!!!

Over Twice The Premium Compared With Several Other Insurers
I will NEVER deal with this firm again. They must be one of the most expensive car insurers and because of that, it seems, have created the right to be rude with it. I cancelled my policy with them because I found several similar policies at around half the price or even less. Definitely not a company I would recommend to anybody.
Been With Vauxhall Insurance For 4 Years And Chang
Been with Vauxhall insurance for 4 years and changing my car Monday so called to sort the swap over to my new car. Was happy to stay with them until they said it would be an EXTRA £310 on top of my current insurance for the remaining 10 months. I explained that I can get 12 months insurance elsewhere for less than £300 and they are in effect charging £650, she said they cannot be competitive as it’s not a Vauxhall. She then went on to say I would need to pay £110 on top of what I have paid to cancel. When I said how ridiculous that was I was told I would have been read the terms and conditions. Yes I was but they never said they would give me no option but to cancel.
My corsa was awful anyway, I will never Buy Vauxhall again!! Feeling annoyed !!!

Its took me several phone calls/ emails/letters to get my no claims cert sent out correctly as there was a mistake on there behalf on it. Still waiting and my new ins co have advised me if i dont recieve soon i will be charged. I do not recommend all staff promise to send it out an i dont recieve it. Absolutely rubbish service!!!!

Took a while for me to get set-up having sat on the phone in the dealership then not getting through and about an hour of trying to get through online and on the phone at home I finally managed to get through to a very helpful person who set me up within ten minutes.
The policy is underwritten by Ageas not Vauxhall but who cares ... it's free!
Terrible Service For "free 5 Day Drive Away Insurance"
Their "free 5 day driveaway insurance" does not seem to exist. They keep you on hold and just pass you round every 6 minutes or so to someone who advises you to do it on line as they are experiencing a high number of calls apparently. Well the online service for this does not work either, after filling all your details in it kicks you out at the end when you accept the cover. Because it's free no one wants to deal with you. Absolute waste of time and money on phone calls. Don't know why the dealer bothers telling you to do this. Would have given no stars but no option to. Terrible service or lack of.

They Do Not Answer The Phone!
I rang them today to arrange a temporary cover for my new Vauxhall - I am picking it up tomorrow from a dealer. They held me for over 10 minutes on their premium line, playing music (whilst I am being charged 45p per minute by my mobile operator).
Just because it is a "free" cover they are not interested!

Don't Cancel Mid Term!
Staff were always courteous but seemed to lack knowledge and getting through to them wasn't easy.
The most annoying thing though was when I cancelled mid term because I bought a BMW I was charged over £100 cancelation fee. I expected to pay some sort of admin fee but that is just ridiculous.
I should also have shopped around because they weren't cheap. When I changed to BMW insurance for a much more valuable car my premiums went down!
