Tel3 Offers Excellent Account Management With Thei

Tel3 offers excellent account management with their back office. You can see all the calls you make, where every dollar is spent, and they even have a new rewards program where you can even see how your points have been used. The call quality sometimes could be better but they have a customer service department that will create a service ticket to improve the quality in that region. I have referred my friends to Tel3 and they are now offering $25 of talk time for each friend that signs up.

I've Had The Opportunity To Use My Brothers Tel3 A

I've had the opportunity to use my brothers Tel3 account and half of my calls are either one way audio or theres some static somewhere. Aside from being cheap, I can't find anything good to say about Tel3.

After Making Several Complaints With Them, I Asked

After making several complaints with them, I asked them to refund the balance of my account, and they agreed to do so without any argument, so that is to their credit.

Don't Buy A Tel3 Card If You Don't Want To Risk Lo

Don't buy a Tel3 card if you don't want to risk losing your money. A small fraction of reviewers here said they were satisfied, but a large majority complained of abysmal quality and poor customer service.

If you already lost your money, complain to the FCC and to your credit card company. In my case the credit card company gave me back my $25 after I wrote them a detailed letter explaining how many calls I tried to make and that not a single one went through, and that Tel3's promises of fixing my problem were empty promises. When I first called the credit card company to complain about Tel3, the person I spoke with at the credit card company seemed to be familiar with complaints against them and wasn't surprised.

With Tel3 I Get A Bad Quality Connection, At Least

With Tel3 I get a bad quality connection, at least to Indonesia. Sometimes I did not get through but was still billed for call. Tech support is kind of shaky but they did credit me when I had a complaint.

Tel 3 Is Very Convenient. Auto Recharge Works Cor

Tel 3 is very convenient. Auto recharge works correctly, don't ever have to enter pin if calling from one of my regular phones (work, home, cell), and I can program speed dial numbers.

Tel3 works fine when I call a land line in Santos, Brazil. I'll continue to use it for the land line, but I'm moving on to other pin cards for calling the cell phone in Brazil.

Tel3 May Or May Not Work When Calling Internationa

Tel3 may or may not work when calling internationally. Either the technicians are incompetent OR Tel3 doesn't service all of the countries they claim to.

On June 8th, 2005, I looked around for a card to use to call a friend in Israel. I found Tel3's site, checked their list of serviced countries, and saw Israel was listed. I signed up. Within minutes, my account was active & I tried to call my friend. I received a message that informed me the number was "Invalid." Not so. When I call that phone number through my regular long distance carrier, I have no problem getting through. The number is quite valid. I called Tel3 customer service and explained the problem to W. He filed a trouble ticket and told me the problem would be corrected w/in 48 hours.

On June 14, I again tried to call my friend in Israel; I again received the "invalid number" message. I again called Tel3. I spoke w/ O. He saw the trouble ticket number that I'd filed last week and said he was going to resubmit the trouble ticket w/ a Session ID number, so it'd be like two trouble tickets. He assured me that the technicians are working on my account "even as we speak" and that my problem should be solved within 24 hours.

On June 15, I again tried and received the same message. I called Tel3 and spoke with J. He told me the techs were working on the problem and that I should be able to call by the next afternoon.

On June 17, I once more called my friend in Israel and received the "invalid number" message. I called Tel3 and spoke with E. He told me the technicians were working on the problem and that I should have been told it might take 72 hours to solve it. I pointed out that it had been 9 days (or 216 hours) since I had lodged the first trouble notice. I asked to speak with a technician. He told me that he was allowed neither to connect me nor give me the number to the tech. dept. He assured me that "The issue is going to be solved." I asked to speak with a manager, but E didn't want me to speak with him, explaining that he would just tell me the same thing that he (E) had told me. By this point, I was so frustrated, I just hung up.

On June 21, I again tried to call my friend in Israel. And again, despite having contacted Tel3's customer service almost 2 weeks ago, I received the "invalid number" message. I called Tel3 customer service yet again. I again spoke with O. I gave him my PIN and my friend's number, and he made a test call. He got the same message I got: "Invalid number." He filed a new trouble ticket. I suppose I'll wait 72 hours before trying again.

You might want to try to confirm with Tel3 that they really do service the countries you want to call . . . regardless of whether or not their web page claims to service them.
