Where Do I Start ?

Build quality is - VERY POOR.

Roof leaks on both sides - BADLY.( leaves a swimming pool inside )

Car creaks and moans - CONSTANTLY.

Warning lights come on - REGULARLY FOR NO REASON.( costs £35. each time to get it turned off )

It does have some good point - NEARLY.

Nice smooth 2 litre engine - but its UNDERPOWERED.

Nice smooth 6 speed gearbox.

Nice clutch.

Looks good.

I wouldn't recommend this to an enemy - IF I HAD ANY.

Overall I'm very - UNIMPRESSED.

Really Good Car, No Probs So Far, Hope To Keep It That Way T

Felt I have to write to somewhat offset all the negative comments being written as I have had my car for three years now and absolutely love it. I bought it as a 2 year old car, with 1 owner and 11k miles on it. I’ve done nearly 25k miles in it already, with (touch wood) no problems so far, economy averages 37mpg which is good as I drive on the motorway err.... quite fast... ahem! Interior is very comfortable. The roof gets pretty regular use and is great to use and very quick. Scuttle shake is evident on poor town roads when roof is down but otherwise its pretty good. NO LEAKS THOUGH AT ALL!! :0) The boot, when roof is up is HUGE, loads of space - had all sorts of stuff in ours including luggage for 4 people and two workmates plus tools in there! Don’t ask why. I love some of the unusual features this car has such as the hidden door pockets and general amount of cubby holes - really clever, big cars should have these but never do for some reason. I’m a bit of a sucker for ’different’ cars having had Alfa’s, Citroen’s, Fiat’s and a Skoda Octavia VRS and this car fits that bill - my friends think I’m mad, but I love it. Didn’t know whether I would like it but I love it now . So in general if you want one go for it, I did and haven’t regretted it at all!

Just Read A Few More Reviews On Here. No One Seems

Just read a few more reviews on here. No one seems to explain how much water is coming in through the roofs or where it is coming in. Main dealers, whatever the manufacturer, are notorious at seeing us all as a licence to print money. Especially those out of warranty. My wife has an Audi TT Roadster 3.2 and its roof started leaking, they told me it would cost £600-900. I researched on the net, it took me 15 minutes to fix a blocked drain hole and nothing else. Information is power but only when you pool knowledge. Surely some one must know what is the cause of this re-occurring problem! If you do then you need to post it on here it will help all these other drivers. My roof has never leaked. I sometimes after very heavy rain get a couple of drops on my lap after opening and then closing the door but then ALL roadsters /cabriolets do this, I have had many over the years.

I've had mine 2 weeks and don't want it for a 3rd one.

I absolutely despise it and would never get another Renault.

Nightmare Of A Car, Wanted A Renault Megane Cabrio

Nightmare of a car, wanted a Renault Megane Cabriolet 2.0 for ages but it has spent more time in and out the garage to fix the leaking roof than I have driving it. And you cant park on a hill when it's raining, I mean what's that all about?
