Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

This is obviously one of my favorite foundations ever. I have been using this product since I first put make up. Great quality, smell, high covering, comfortable packaging.

this foundation is fabulous But Debenhams have run out ??

I have tried several times but No Stock and no idea when more will be in!

Originally purchased for my wedding last year after seeing other reviews and wow! Perfect coverage, mattifying, stays all day long and does not transfer. I used almost every day and it seems to last forever.

I have applied with Beauty Blenders and brushes and get a great result with both.

I must have tried 85% of the high Street and higher brand foundations and this makes top 2.

With two weddings this year I had reconciled myself to wearing really long skirts again to cover my legs. I have extensive broken veins and blue blotching and normally wear thick opaque tights. I searched online for the best cover and reviews recommended this. I bought it and my daughter applied it - we were both amazed at the cover given. I wouldn't have gone with totally bare legs as it is obvious makeup has been applied, but was comfortable in 7 denier tights wearing a knee length dress and no one could tell. And it doesn't wear off.

I love double wear. I have been using it for over 10 years. There are times when I think I should try something new on the market... but I always go back. The way it spreads really depends on the moisturizer you use beforehand. This stuff is the best and I will never switch again. I've learned my lesson and have wasted too much money thinking there is something better out there that is passing me by.

So I have been using Mineral foundation for 8 years; I can't stand how liquid foundations feel and they usually cause breakouts even oil free ones. I researched the ingredients of other department store brands and drug store brands this foundation had the best ingridients. The representative matched my color perfectly. this is quite easy to apply using fingers, or a sponge for buildable coverage. For light coverage smooth onto face, for more coverage on certain areas tap on or use a concealer brush. I am currently using this foundation as a spot concealer (it's that awsome.. no need for another conceler) under my mineral foundation. I only have acne scars on jawline and I need heavier coverage there. I use my mineral on the rest of my face and this blends beautifly. I don't touch up at all this lasta all day, does not oxidize and turn orange. I have oily t-zone and dry skin on cheeks yet sometimes I just wear this althoug it dries Matte it doesn't dry me. I don't feel it on my skin it's the only liquid foundation I can stand on my face. I am planning on using it it winter when my skin is dryer instead of my mineral because my skin is changing sometimes my powder foundation is too dry. I would like to leave a tip for acne prone gals.. just because a foundation is oil free doesn't mean it won't break you out, cliniques oil free has bismuth oxychloride as do some mineral foundations this may lead to cystic acne. So far not one breakout using this. The only thing this is quite hard to take off, but that can also be a good thing durring the day.

I've tried many foundations, but this one beats them all!!! Although quite pricey it stays on all day and doesn't leave an oily residue. I have normal to combination skin and it feels great and looks great. If you want good coverage then this is the one to go for as its better than Clinique, Lancôme, Mac, Chanel and Elizabeth Arden but you must try it for yourself go and get a sample just to see the difference, it's free and you've got nothing to lose, I know I wouldn't use anything else x

I'm sorry but if you review this product and claim that it gave you 'crusty skin' or whatever then unless you have a serious skin problem - you obviously aren't looking after your skin properly.

You should not put any foundation onto a face unless it has been cleaned, cleansed and moisturised. I'm not being snotty, a decent cleansing wipe and a good face cream always make up for it. Fact of the matter is, don't put foundation onto a dirty, crummy face. Whatever is stuck to your face any foundation is going to stick to that.

So that is why I think most of these negative reviews are stupid. This foundation does not do that. I'm 26 and last year I was an unlucky person and my skin decided to give me Acne rosacea on my chin.. and basically my whole face. This foundation will not cover the whole thing.. But it does the right thing.. If that makes sense? It covers it up so lightly that no one would even notice. It's amazing, it stays on all day and I get constant compliments over my skin... No one apart from my family and close friends know that I have acne rosacea thanks to this. I love this product, I randomly bought it at the airport because my best friend told me about it. Only word of advice is to go a shade lighter than you natural tone, then use bronzers on your cheeks. Also this product isn't amazing in photographs lol so if you go on holiday like I did... And get a deep tan, don't use it or you will look like a moomin on a brown lolly pop stick.

I have been using this product for 4 months and its my favourite. I have been a MAC junkie before but I have a new found love ! It is simply the best makeup brand if you are looking for a silky smooth flawless 8-10 hr coverge.

I am twenty-one years old and have been using this foundation for three months. I found it helped keep my acne under control and once I was almost cured of acne, thanks to meds and this water-based foundation, I was happy with my face w/ and without make-up. I have dry skin due to the meds, but after applying a light face cream and este lauder I found it covered my redness and dry skin. It really doesn't seem to clog my large pores, which are susceptible to bacteria.
