Used Twice No Problems

Having used twice with no concerns I would use again if the price is right. Remember to expect extra charges for cases late booking fee and factor this into to total cost. I can usually get cheaper transfers with A2B so I do not pay for theirs.Good at answering the phone when needed if a problem arises on holiday.

Would Not Recommend Using This Company

Booked a holiday to Cyprus with 4* accommodation rating. Found really bad reviews on TripAdvisor and then rechecked Global's website to find they had downgraded the accommodation to 3*. I got in touch to say they sold 4* but now grade it as 3* and they should have told us about this. They were unhelpful to say the least and would not answer the question I had raised. Got to the place and found it deserted. There was one member of staff who could not have cared less about us. Luckily the weather was good so did not have to spend much time in the apartment which was at best 2*. Got home and raised issues with Global. At this point a company called SUNMASTER started to correspond with us, turns out they are part of Global. The rudeness which proceeded was incredible. I was told to phone numbers which either did not exist or were answered by a message saying unable to answer. The only way I could communicate was by email and then I got an email from a member of staff which said "instead of keeping sending emails use the phone number". I eventually spoke to a person who said he was a manager who advised they were sending me the paltry sum of £20 compensation. This sum was derisory but I was determined they would pay it and that I would have no more dealings with any company owned or associated with the Global Travel Group. After many more months of endless excuses and rudeness I received it a few days ago being over 7 months after the holiday.

Be very careful if you are considering having anything to do with this lot!

Great Company: Will Definitely Use Again

I'm not usually someone who writes reviews but I felt very strongly about the excellent service and value for money we received on a recent family holiday booked with Global Late Deals. The main reason for writing the review was to try and counter the negative reviews that have been written here and give other potential customers a more balanced view of the company. This was the first time I had used this company but my father had booked with them several times before and has never had a problem. I must admit that having read some previous reviews I was a bit sceptical, particularly as we had had such a great deal and saved a huge amount of money as compared to the same holiday via other companies. Every aspect of the holiday was fantastic and all arrangements were faultless - the only thing that did let us down slightly was the weather but we can't blame that on Global Late Deals. I will definitely be recommending this company to friends and will certainly be using them again myself in the future. Well done Global Late deals and thanks for a fantastic holiday!!

Gran Canaria Holiday

This is the first time we have used the global late deal company ,we normally use a package holiday but because of the economy we decided to try and go a different way ,and i am very pleased we did ,everything went spot on frm flights to transfers to hotel.We are so pleased with the service we have allready booked another holiday with Global late deals .Thank you very much .

Book A Hotel With Them & Get Put In 1 Unheard Of On Website!

We booked with Global Late Deals via their website. We wanted to go to a certain area in Turkey, so looked at the hotels offered there & booked a hotel that was just what we were looking for. The confirmation showed the name of the hotel, as did that transfers booked through them. When we got dropped off at this hotel we were told we did not have a booking there & that our accommodation was down the road, which was apparently "part of the complex". We were then took in their bus to this hotel. We found out that there were 2 other hotels which were classed as part of our hotel. They did not compare whatsoever with the hotel we booked. We complained & asked to be moved into the hotel we had booked, but they said that hotel was completley full.

These other 2 hotels were not even mentioned in Global Late Deals' website, let alone being part of our hotels complex. When we returned we complaind to Sunmaster, which is also part of Global Late Deals. They did not want to know. They then altered their website to show that 3 hotels were in a complex, they then named all 3, aswell as then giving the option of being able to chose which one you wanted to stay in. When we mentioned this, they had the audacity to say that they had not altered anything & that the wessite had always shown all 3 hotels.

We got no compensation whatsoever. Sunmaster said they couldn't be held accountable at all, as they were a 3rd Party company.

My advice, if you wish to book through these linked companies, be aware that you just might end up in a hotel that you never knew existed and if you complain about it, we know first hand that they are more then capable of blatantly lying to get out of paying any compensation you are due, hence get away with misleading/misselling you your holiday.

Disgusted! False Advertising - No Such Thing As A Deal!

Wish I had seen these before going through process. Wanted to add another £200 for airport taxes even though site says everything is included - disguted with them - its not good that they get all your card details before the sting hits! Would never recommend them ever!

Never Again Stay Well Clear Of Glodallatedeals

booked holiday with globallatedeals for may 2010 was cancelled due to volconic ash still waiting for refund got fobbed off every time i phoned they said my flight had left on time i contacted aer lingus they said the flight was cancelled due to volconic ash guess what never got any money back from globallatedeals stay well clear

Deceiving Advertising Style Over Internet

Hi

Do not try to save £100 pounds with this company it is really not worthy hassle. They prices on their site do not reflect reality. Once you think you booked your holiday and pay for it you get surprising call saying that you actually only pre-booked your holiday and they might tell you that you need to pay extra for flight, for luggage or the reservation you made is only for 4 days instead 6 or 7.

Stuff is generally unhelpful and doesn't treat customer as a client especially when you start ask questions.

We had a "pleasure" speaking with someone call Andrew who seems is holding a team leader position in this company. Instead of listening to a client and be apologetic about their deceiving advertising style he is lecturing client about term and conditions and offering you ridiculous options in bossy way.

One more thing, try to ask for refund and after the conversation is almost at the end they hang up on you.

Appauling Company, Wish I Had Read The Reviews Before Booking

Booked my holiday to Ibiza online - gave all my credit card details and was the told an advisor would ring me back to confirm, which they did later that evening. I wish I had read these reviews as they ended up telling me the flights had gone up by £50 each and the hotel rooms were an extra 40!! Ridiculous! I said there was no way I could afford to pay any extra and she said the flights on the web page were not live and could change at any time...... Suprise suprise a week on and they are still being advertised at the original price. Ended up booking with Thomas Cook for the price GLD were asking originally! Be warned!

Similar Experiences To Others. The Price Given On

Similar experiences to others. The price given on the web site was good, so I (or I thought I) booked it. at the end of the process (and after taking credit card details) you are told your order is being processed and they will call you back.

They called back to confirm the booking - and then the fun started! First, she informed me that the club room was a cancellation and was no longer available. She could offer me a 'normal' club room but it was £70 more expensive. I asked about a Park room. Again, this was much more than quoted on the web site. Then there were the things I expected (but which any decent company informes you of in advance on their website) - £40 baggage charge + 2.9% credit card surcharge.

she got a bit shirty with me when i said i was not interested and initially tried to say it was already processed. But I stuck to my guns.

check their site again the next day an (no surprises) they are still offering theso-called ;cancellation' room.

Went to TravelRepublic site and booked the same holiday at almost the same original price.
