Had A Lovely Evening. Did Not Know What To Expect.
Had a lovely evening. Did not know what to expect. Nice to have this restaurant in Eynsford and makes a pleasant change. Did go on a Thursday night and had very view people but nonetheless a pleasant evening. This place deserves to stay open. Please try and go we do not want this business to cease trading.

The Watermark At Eynsford Has Recently Undergone A
The Watermark at Eynsford has recently undergone a change of ownership and has now re-opened as a Thai/ Thai fusion restaurant.
My wife and I have eaten there on several occasions and have had beautifully cooked authentic Thai food each time.
Service was typically Thai too, with the staff making sure we had everything we wanted.
The bills have been very reasonable with a starter, main and drinks for both of us coming in at less than £50.
All in all, if you want excellent food and friendly service in a lovely part of the world you can't go wrong.
I've Read The Other Reviews And I Can Only Suppose
I've read the other reviews and I can only suppose that we chose the night when the chef at The Watermark was on holiday. The food was terrible - overcooked, over salted and probably frozen. The friuts de mer at £60 was inedible and had to be sent back. I would never risk going back there.
I think that this restaurant has now changed hands and is a very tasty thai.

On A Recent Trip To The Picturesque Village Of Eyn
On a recent trip to the picturesque village of Eynsford, Nr. Brands Hatch, we ventured off the beaten foodie trail, and found the most fantastic fish and game restaurant - The Watermark.
The restaurant sits beside the ford bridge and river, opposite the pretty church.
With a single sitting, we were able to take our time over our fabulous meal. We were delighted with our choice of the delicious scallops for starters.
My partner followed the scallops with a fabulous lobster - pretty in pink, while I plumped for the - plump - Barbary Duck in a heavenly sauce.
We rounded off the meal with The Watermark Glace and Mama Massey's Apple Pie - a secret family recipe passed down through the chef's family. And although we went for traditional Apple Pie, there was a lot of beautiful looking competition on the sweet trolley to tempt us - including a Lavender Cheesecake made from lavender, distilled on a nearby farm.
All in all we were delighted with our evening's gourmet cuisine.
We were made to feel very welcome - infact, I don't know about staying all night - we would have loved to stay all week.
We will definitely return for more fabulous fish, and we've already made a date in our diaries to book for a Christmas meal with our family.
