Think Again Before Shopping At Funbikes

2nd time my balance bike has been in for repair. The second time they have tried to blame a four year old boy or me his grandma,for taking a part off and destroying the part, therefore the warranty no longer exists. By the way it was only bought in May 2023. And was told that this conversation was going round in circles and under no circumstances was there going to be a refund or repair. O sorry yes they would repair it at a cost of £302. What a joke, so yes if I was you I'd shop elsewhere

Sold Me A Brocken Bike

HI GOT MY SON A BIKE FOR HIS BIRTHDAY FROM THE DAY HE DROP IT OFF THERE WERE PARTS MISSING THEN WE WENT TO START THE BIKE THE KICK START IS BROKEN SO SON SO UP SET THEN WHEN WE CONTACT THEM TO MAKE THEM AWARE OF THE PROBLEM THEY HAVE BEEN SO RUDE TO MY WIFE AM NOT BEEN FUNNY I WILL NEVER BUY A BIKE OFF THEM AGAIN ???? IVE SPENT NERLY £1000 IVE GOT A BROKEN BIKE IN MY SHED AND NO REFUND MY SON SO HART broken

Worst Company Ever Dealt With

The most awful company we’ve ever dealt with. Bought a £500+ electric motor cross bike for our young son for Christmas. On Boxing Day things started to go wrong with it!

Since then he’s only rode it on the garden at weekends for a total of 6 hrs and it has been out of action due to things breaking more than it has been ridden.

It has been returned twice for repair and although it’s clearly not fit for purpose fun bikes have refused to refund or credit note the bike even though it is well within warranty. Funbikes have even acknowledged that the repair work performed by their technicians has lead to further faults but they refuse to take any responsibility. Finally we had to nag with more emails and phone calls to get them to return the bike to us, to find parts are still not repaired on its arrival.

So we are left with a faulty, dangerous bike that is not fit for purpose and our very upset son still has no Christmas present.

We will be looking for a more reliable, honest company to replace our sons Christmas present to a safer, better quality motorbike. Leaving us very out of pocket.

Funbikes will not be receiving any further custom from us when we purchase other vehicles in the future and considering we have 3 young boys all into motorbikes and quad bikes, that’s many years of custom lost.

We have contacted trading standards and we will be taking the matter further.

As a company they are rude, have ignored our emails, not returned phone calls, have absolutely no morals and have not given us any satisfaction or confidence that this issue will not be ongoing. They make decisions solely to benefit their business not their clients, without any justification. Their products are cheap and poor quality and their customer service is atrocious.  

Unless you want to waste your money on goods that only last a day and are dangerous, do not buy from this company!

I have also had problems with them selling me a bike with a faulty battery and now what me tobpay for a battery that was faulty from day 1 this problem has been going on since January they keep you going with asking g you to try this and that then bam the warranty runs out and they fob you off they are a joke

We are still fighting for a refund, they ignore email after email, phone calls after phone calls. They have been reported to trading standards several times yet they continue to sell dangerous goods and rip people off. They are an absolute despicable company.

We've just experienced their rude customer care service too.

Please no one buy products from this company. They are not honourable and do not care if your items faulty etc...We will be returning our product and take it as far as we can. Companies shouldn't be allowed to trade like this.

Sold Me A Damaged Used Display Quad

Bought 2 quads off these for Christmas presents one come boxed brand new a one come unboxed strapped on top of other box when checking over you could see it was used wheels were pitted muck and scratches all over plastics charger missing when contacting by email they told me they had sold me a ex display used quad wouldn’t recommend using these bad after care

After more than a month still no reply!! needless to say I have done what I should have done in the first place, I have bought a new Husqvarna and maybe Funbikes should take a leave how their customer service is!! Funbikes you should be ashamed - To anyone reading the reviews, go on all reviews you can find, they barely receive 3 stars! Say no more

Would give it no stars, however the person I dealt with deserves much more. Where shall I start. Should you want to buy something from this company, Think Very Carefully. They are happy to take your money but dont expect any customer service. After researching I bought an M2R RF 140cc Pitbike at the end of February 2019. My son was over the moon as this was a very special purchase. Unfortunately this was short lived as within a month various things went wrong with the bike. As it is mechanical equipment things will go wrong, however the following all went wrong.

1) Back wheel completely disintegrated - Apparently faulty from the manufacturer - Replaced (User error)

2) Carb started leaking petrol out - replaced (User error)

3) Rear Wheel Axle bent and broke bearings and chain - (User error in their email

4) Clutch lever broke off - Ordered new clutch lever but a whole clutch was sent but no clutch lever.

All of these can happen, I suppose they could but which makes me angry is their customer service. You should see the reply from a supposedly customer service specialist. All of the things that happened to the bike is and I quote "USER ERROR"

It was ridden to hard!!! FFS its a pitbike they should be up to the job otherwise dont sell them. Oh yes by the way, all the problems started within a month, and half of it was waiting for spares!

I also upgraded many parts to be more robbust! Silly of me I know but you live and learn

When looking at the reviews it makes sense. This is not a flash in the pan. Be wise and save your money and go to a company that cares because Funbikes dont give a ....!!!!

Ordering Spare Parts.

After looking at their site I choose to order three items for a mini moto I'm rebuilding.

A pair of replacement forks, air filter and brake pads.

After several emails asking if I could pay by bank transfer and not getting a reply I decided to call.

Speaking to a lady on the telephone and setting up an account with them, emailing my name, address,contact number and transferring the funds that same afternoon.

It was the a full four days before I received any response from them.

The items then weren't dispatched for a further two days.

Courier attempted delivery on the Friday and recorded that a note was left saying that delivery was attempted! NO note was too be found anywhere.

Finally got my parts today, 13 days after first contact.

Although for the price I wasn't expecting them to be of great quality, I did expect a little better than what turned up.

Will never purchase from here again, FUNBIKES/NOFUNBIKES.

Do Not Buy From Fun Bikes.

I ordered a quad for my son that arrived faulty with missing parts. I spoke to them and they admitted they hadn't built it correctly but still refused to replace it. Leaving me with an 8 year old with an unusable birthday present.

!!avoid - Stay Clear!!

Bought two electric quads, one was badly damaged and missing bolts when it did turn up. The most unhelpful staff when there is a problem. Eventually got them to send a new one out but its only 2 working days until Christmas, not holding my breath! Stay clear of this small shambles of a business who are very keen to take your money but leave you high & dry when your money hits there bank. Got no choice than to leave one star :(

Steer Well Clear Of This Company. Can’t Do Enough

Steer well clear of this company. Can’t do enough for you when you are buying from them but you will be left high and dry when things start to go wrong. Poor cheap quality goods, we purchased two bikes and both incurred identical problems within a matter of weeks. The company were incredibly obnoxious and a nightmare to deal with. We applied to the small claims court and were recently awarded a full refund for both the bikes we purchased. Funbikes continue to ignore this demand so a visit from the sheriff officers will be the next step. Funbikes have reported every review that I have posted online for making reference to having made a legal claim against them. I am so disgusted with the way this company has behaved that I will continue to make sure that unsuspecting customers do not make the same mistake of shopping with this company. Happy to provide proof of claim to anyone who wants to see it. Appalling that companies like this can actually get away with treating customers like this. Poor show funbikes!

Came next day packed very safely, already mostly asembled so not that much to do. I had slight problem getting bike started rang shop they answered straight away and were very helpful they knew styraight away whast the problem was, I hadnt put the fuse in ha ha Would deffinetly recommend.

I bought fun bike 50cc mini quad for my daughters Christmas and she loves it, however the only downside we have is that the throttle lever doesn't seem to be greatly positioned and is hurting her thumb after only a few minutes on the bike. Is anybody else having this problem? If so is there a simple solution to this?

Hello, as I wrote in my review about funbikes, I have sent back two of their damaged motorbikes, the second bike I sent back, I was given the choice of having a different bike as they were out of stock of the one I wanted, they then contacted me today and said I was a liar about some of the faults, i.e. No oil leaking in the box, no petrol had been in the tank, but the fairing was cracked and broken in many bits, but the bits of fairing were not in the box. 

They have told me that I am being blocked as a customer and are not willing to give me another bike, because they are saying I'm liar even though the bike was damaged...I also brought all matching clothing for this bike of which I have no use for now as I have no bike for my 8 year old.

They are refusing to collect the large box of clothing, helmet, boots etc, that was brought with the bike. I live 154 miles away and it's going to cost x amount to return these items. If I had known they were going to refuse my custom and not send me another bike I would of sent the clothing back with the bike....I am so upset, I am 5 months pregnant and don't know where I stand with this company. Please any advice would be helpful.
