Mr Pings, Benfleet - I've been to all 4 sites, southend, benfleet, thorpe bay and the new raleigh branch, although the food differs from each restaurant, generally the food is of a high standard, environment is very suited for a nice meal and the prices are very reasonable, cant really fault it. Will be going back for more!

Good points - staff very solicitious, attentive and professional. Menu a little limited for a genuine chinese restauarant, but the food was without exception excellent. House wine, sauvingnon blanc very drinkable and reasonable at £12.

Saturday night - awful "singer" - murdered just about every song he sang - music was loud in every corner of the restaurant. Very few customers appeared to get the least enjoyment from it. Had a lovely time last November- in a full restaurant, without any "entertainment", just the buzz of people enjoying themselves, Regrettably we were not warned what to expect when making our booking for this evening

Discussed our disappointment with the owner, but there wasn't exactly a meeting of minds......shame, we thought we had a really classy restaurant in Rayleigh for a while.

If you would like something a little different in taste, try Mr Pings in Benfleet, Rayleigh, Southend. Tried all sites and the food standard has always been good. Booking required for weekends as i find its always full. Last visit was for lunch at the new Mr Pings opposite the police station Rayleigh.yum yum, I will be back for more.

Mr Pings in Belfast delivers the whole package - divine tastes, fun, light hearted family atmosphere, and exceeds all other local Chinese restaurants bar none!

Keep up the immaculate experience!!

Don't bother with Mr Pings unless you wish to have your evening ruined. Staff are only concerned with turnover, not with your enjoyment. We were not allowed to finish our meal as they wanted us to leave so they could free up the table for the next guests. As soon as our main course was finished we were given the bill (without asking for it) and asked to leave without even the chance of dessert of coffee. I complained and said we were not ready to leave but they simply didn't care !!! Avoid at all costs.
