I Liked It At First - The Brushed Metal 120gb One

I liked it at first - the brushed metal 120GB one was so quite - then one day it started clicking at me after less than a year .... so i bought a 250GB plastic one ... it started clicking at me in less than 5 months - rendering my discs almost unusable - esp with files over 50MB in size and esp with pictures .... i don't understand - most other reviewers don't have problems like this?

Having Used The Very Reliable 80gb Freecom Externa

Having used the very reliable 80GB Freecom external USB hard drive for over a year, I bought this 250GB version.

These drives are just so good. Genuine plug and play technology.

This one is slightly different to the 80GB version.

It can be used on a local network (LAN) or you can simply use it on one PC.

As well as being network compatible, Freecom have included a very convenient on/off switch at the back of the unit.

They have also introduced a multi colour LED which is really good.

It really does pay to shop around for these items, and I found a price difference of £60 between retail outlets.
